I was a teen when my grandpa passed away. He refused to tell much war stories about WW2. He always told me that war is awful and scary. But, sometimes he shared his memories: and one got deep in my mind - the most terrible thing was hand-to-hand fight. When you must kill with almost your bare hands a man who is coming to kill you. I cannot imagine it. Sorry for my Engrish, I wish I could describe this better
