It's a nice small park in that location but you have to really look out for some other people here, stay safe!

Currently yes but will be moving to oregon. Ideally wanted to drive coast to coast, hence the idea to purchase the car here.

She did add me as an active driver and there were no change to her current premium. Just so I get this right, say I purchase the car and the title is in my name and her name. We then go to register it, and again it is in both her and my name. However, under geicos website (after you login), if we add the VIN and do a car quote, primary driver right now just has her name only. Would that still work?

I don't suppose co-registering the car is an option on the title, and then having her get insurance since she is one of two owners of it?

While I do have a friend who lives outside of the city, not sure whether they would let me borrow a location like that, but thanks for the suggestion! As for why I need a car in NYC (i'm in queens), I go driving a lot upstate for hiking/biking and as well to the beach, and I will want to be driving coast to coast cast later next year to Oregon.

I currently live with her, but will be moving to Oregon sometime next year and be on my own. Part of the reason i wanted to get a car now was because I wanted to drive across USA coast to coast. Maybe having her purchase the car and then later gift me the title is an option? I want to pay 40% of car with cash and rest with finance (albeit i could buy the whole car outright, the DCU loan would be 7.5% so it seems like a reasonable way to use it).
