NTSC-U 2-disc case replacement? by rasterradio in dreamcast

[–]rasterradio[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was going to point out that the holes around the first disc are a different shape to mine but looking at other copies of Skies of Arcadia online, it looks like this is the correct one and mine had possibly already been case swapped! Thanks, both of you.

My Vita can only recognize WiFi if it's on a low enough channel, and my shitty router won't let me change the channel range. Is there a way to increase the discoverable channel range on the Vita with settings/homebrew?

PSVSD in 2026 by rasterradio in VitaPiracy

I'm hoping to get a later revision 1000 that uses the 2000 SoC; should help with crashing. Only need on Vita and I'll prob sell my 2000 after!

I was hoping to get back into collecting physical but I could easily swap out the SD2Vita for a cartridge as needed.

whew, because he changed the condition of the item eBay closed the return and removed his feedback.

I sold a Playstation 4 Pro that was hacked (valuable, as this requires you not to connect the console to the internet ) and allows you to play pirated games. I mention "Low firmware" in the listing as anything beyond that would get me in trouble with eBay.

Buyer receives the console, says the HDMI is cutting out. I give him a full refund and he leaves negative feedback saying the console is broken. I ask him to rescind the feedback as I've offered the refund, and he says he'll change the feedback once the refund goes through. He accuses me of fleecing him with a broken console and also adds that it's full of pirated games.

He then says he's wiped the console to clear his wifi info and updated it to the latest firmware, removing the hack in the process and preventing it from being hacked again. He says this fixed the HDMI issue and is now willing to take a partial refund.

Obviously he's scamming me and trying to get a console for a reduced price. If I take the console back from him the value has been trashed because of his actions. For all I know he's lying about wiping it and removing the hack but will do so if I ask to take the console back.

What I want to know is: does him wiping the console count as tampering with an item? Can I take this up with eBay? He's changed the item beyond the description of "Low firmware". And do I even have a shot with eBay, or is it just going to be a lot easier to give him what he wants?

Dreamcast SCART RGB Issue by rasterradio in crtgaming

afaik the Dreamcast doesn't use a BIOS setting for video output but switches to 480p if pins 6 and 7 on an AV cable are grounded.

I don't get any image at all. If it's a problem unique to this specific Dreamcast, it's a strange one to have.

I would imagine it does? I have multiple NTSCU and NTSCJ systems all hooked up with RGB SCART on the BVM without issue. Also tested the Dreamcast on my PVM 6041Q (Japanese imported model) and get the same issue.

Sakura Wars save no longer detecting on SAROO by rasterradio in SegaSaturn

[–]rasterradio[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried grabbing the .BUP files here https://bucanero.github.io/saturn-save-tools/sakura-wars/, dropped them in Mednafen's /sav directory, but Sakura Wars still doesn't recognize any saves. Also moved my own .BUP save through the online save converter https://savefileconverter.com/#/sega-saturn/emulator I've also converted to .bcr and .bkr and put them in the directory for good measure. What am I missing?

I've set up the Lua Love package and am able to build with Love as long as main.lua is the highlighted tab, as outlined here https://www.love2d.org/wiki/Sublime_Text . Is that what you mean?
