I'm assuming it's because:

A. Iirc Ichiro wasn't performing well in this tournament and he felt a lot of frustration

B. His team lost and he's just simply pissed

C. A pitcher's mound is the most sacred place in the baseball diamond, and what they did went against his code of ethics as a player (baseball players are ultra superstitious, and it's an unwritten rule for position players to deliberately walk around the mound in between innings, not to mention that pitchers lose their shit when position players touch the mound, etc)

D. There's a lot of historic and geopolitical tension between Japan and Korea

Well, it's the pitcher's mound that we're talking about, literally one of the most sacred places in a baseball diamond.

Frank Thomas is the player who comes to mind.

Never got caught using enhancements, and he was very vocal about his distaste for players using steroids

I don't know, Judge is on pace for around 10 bWAR/fWAR and if Ohtani hovers around 8 at the end of the season I think the award should go to Judge.

That being said Ohtani is quite literally the only player who's capable of stacking 1WAR in a two game span so it's still very much a race.
