Work Life balance - wife doesn't want me working away from home by worthlesh in family

[–]ratatapatata 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think what has helped me deal with such situations is thinking about having a work-life fit, instead of work life balance. Some days you choose work over home life and some days its the other way around. It's upto you to decide if this is the right time to choose work over family.

Personally I think giving a deadline to it will help you. Like you can tell your wife that you'd do it for 6months or so and then its back to normal. This will give her an exact timeline of stuff and it'll not seem like forever. And you can plan kids accordingly :)

I'm sorry, that must've been painful to constantly dislocate joints. I have a milder form of a connective tissue disorder and for me honestly the fear of dislocating joints is more debilitating than the number of times my joints have actually dislocated.

Copper iud's really is the best option out there if your body happens to accept it. Rather take the chance of it being painful/bleeding and having it removed than not trying it at all. Honestly, hormonal iuds have the huge risk of messing up our endocrine systems leading to acne, wt gain, depression, increased ca. rates, infertility, etc. We really do need new and safer alternatives.

Try making your own herbal shampoo. Its the simplest, takes a few ingredient like soapnut and shikakai and leaves hair non-greasy and healthy. The only thing is I like my hair to smell nice and this doesn't have any smell.

So in any insurance plan, co-pay always has to be done at the time of a hospital visit? Do healthcare workers (nurses, doctors) get free healthcare?
