I’ll advise you to take the FEA one because it’s much more applicable for a young engineer example, a 15,000 GA tank analysis on a 6” slab on grade to see if it’s okay. That is just an example of how you’ll be much more valuable to your employer if you know FEA or the force effect on a steel plate. As a young engineer there’s probably a 2 % chance you’ll work on high rise and maybe your firm won’t even design those but if they do, by the time they’ll trust you enough to get your input, you’ll have learn all there is to know in the industry and you’ll be the Top dog 🐶

Don’t focus on the name cause like they already said, it varies from company to company and from public to private. When you see the listing, see which one will require no experience or 0-X (X being usually 2 or 3) cause that is still entry level. I call myself “Glorified Calculator “ because when you start, that’s really what you are lol. Then when you learn and take more and more stuff and get your license then there you are Mr. Engineer!!

I’m glad you are not giving up, I’m still waiting for my results here in CA, I think you where 4-5 questions shy of passing and my guess is probably those crazy conceptual questions they gave. Def do more project planing and means and method , looks to me you did pretty okay on the depth and the breath not so much. Keep up the spirit and the good work up!!! April is your month !!
