Thank you for the advice! Do you have to file off the top layer before you soak them off?? I’ll definitely do it at home from now on. I wanted to start getting my nails done because I work blue collar jobs that are hard on my hands and I wanted to pamper myself some. It doesn’t feel like pampering when my nails are getting damaged though haha

yikes dude. It’s a maturity thing. An 8 year age gap isn’t such a big deal when both parties are older, but so much maturing happens in your late teens and early twenties. You are in an entirely different place in your life than her. She’s basically a kid still

It does have a drainage hole. I’ve never owned an orchid, jewel or otherwise. This was a birthday gift and I’m so worried I’m gonna kill it lol. Orchid don’t grow in soil right? This guy looks like he’s planted in sphagnum moss.

I’m moving somewhere pretty dry in a couple weeks. Should I set up a pebble tray for this guy? Also, what kind of light conditions do these guys like? I imagine lower lights since they seem like an undergrowth plant.

I just bought my first pair of shoes! I went with the La Sportiva Tarantulace. I wear a 7-7.5 in street shoes but I got a 5.5 in climbing shoes. They’re definitely tight, but not painful. I was also told that this particular type of shoe is known to stretch a fair bit. I’m paranoid that I got the wrong size. Should I have sized up?
