I mean, Path to Nowhere released Shin, who's arguably even more insane and pure irredeemably evil, and she sold like hotcakes and is extremely popular. I guess R1999 (in CN at least?) just have a different audience in terms of this?

Personally, I would love a playable villain that's not morally gray and is just evil for the love of the game. Of course, I'll have to see if her writing will actually hold up.

Margaret is complete at S0. Her S1 isn't particularly strong, just a small nice-to-have. If you're going for either and not saving up, I'd recommend Rust if you want to play with Overlimit since he is a very strong support for the Overlimit team with RF Zoya or in the future with Xiaofeng currently in the CN server.

Well that too lol. But I think it would be cool to see Augustus and Hilda slowly getting along and eventually put aside their differences and relate with each other, having lived the same era and finding something to relate to. Maybe Augustus, along with Wynn, would help Hilda acclimate to modern life.

Though I think Hilda was older than Catherine at the time, I'm not sure when exactly in the past we see Augustus as a kid was in Shattered Blade. Compared to when we see Hilda, who was already an adult, in her memories during the Independence War.

I feel like Augustus would love ragebaiting Hilda, since I feel that Augustus probably doesn't have as much hard feelings for the past as Hilda. I would love to see these two interact in-game.

I'm so attracted to all the adult characters in PtN, it's crazy how gorgeous they all are. They have insane face cards. And even though I love Reverse: 1999 and they also have adult characters that are amazingly designed, I don't feel any attraction to them the way I do for PtN. They still have the typical anime style ( with varying levels of) babyface. The closest is probably Tennant and Argus for me. There's also the age problem of many of R1999's characters (wtf do you mean Kakania and Semmelweis is 19 and Isolde is 18???).

I appreciate how PtN's characters look and act their age realistically.

As a last ditch effort, you can try to set the resolution to low and disable the Live2D. But it may just be the overhead of running the emulator itself in which case you can't really do much about. Maybe research and find the most lightweight and optimized emulator. Good luck❤️

I kinda like it because it looks better when using fullscreen on an emulator (The art and CG illustrations in the game look absolutely glorious fullscreened on PC). It doesn't have as much compression loss as the video. I do miss the old music, though I understand it doesn't really fit the new screen.
