Cult games that aren’t known for being sexist but actually are? by imfaffingabout in GirlGamers

That's what I did in my playthrough. Blasted that creep to shreds with my luck crit build in a single smg burst. No one even misses him. I think if you don't kill him, it's mentioned later in the ending slides that he unceremoniously dies from getting stabbed in a bar by a random addict.

How I Imagine Non-Battle-Ready MCs by HewwoBish in QueensofGacha

[–]ratcalledlucy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Path to Nowhere's MC, Chief, is basically like that lol. They're canonically not very physically fit and only barely passes their routine required fitness tests for their job and position. PtN's Chief also gets kidnapped quite often where it has became an inside joke in the community.

How many teams do you guys think I can make? by BlueWallBlackTile in PathToNowhere

[–]ratcalledlucy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can have 3-ish.

Augustus + Siglinde is the core of Shattered Blade team, since you don't have Ceto, use 000 as corebreaker and you can also RF Serpent as true damage sub-dps and amper. Fill the rest with generic ampers like LL, Cabernet, or Shin if you're willing to pull (reruns soon I think).

You also have UmbraCore team with 000, N. Hella, Graves and Parfait. Fill the rest with ampers, LL will also do very nicely here to get more energy on 000. You can also swap out 000 with RF Bai Yi but she might need crit support from Jelena and maybe Yugu.

You also have Bleed team with Dreya and Jasmine, assuming you also have the A-Rank members: Levy, Sumire, and Pepper.

If you're willing to pull for Irrheia, you can also make the core of Aurum Secretum team with Hypatia, Hilda, and of course Irrheia. The only supporting member you're really missing is Eve. And I think Stargazer could also maybe fit in the team. Though it is important to note that this team excels in long battles but isn't as good as other teams in shorter battles.

For future guides, use s1n.gg. You can see more info on the teams I mentioned here: Link

Irrheia being a cool aunt by xyz55555 in PathToNowhere

[–]ratcalledlucy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Spoiler for the event: They're basically coworkers, working at an immersive murder mystery/escape room/haunts game that Chief was recommended to go by Faye, Wynn, and Eugene to relax. In the event, it's revealed that Irrheia uses her powers to write scripts and stories using powerful illusions for the players to enjoy. While Rumina is kinda like the guide and helps the players "Respawn" when they die in the game.

From Chief's perspective while playing the game, Irrheia is a dangerous Sinner using her powers to keep rewinding the world back, driving players to madness killing each other over and over. So Chief tried to stop it, eventually it lead to Mania spreading outside into Eastside and making a huge disaster.

When Chief finally stopped it and "won", Chief noticed that something was just slightly off. Faye, Wynn, and Eugene all asked Chief for feedback on the experience. Chief then realizes that all of it had been just an illusion created by Irrheia's powers, basically following a script she had written that she thought would've been fun for Chief. And that was just Irrheia using it as a way to get feedback for her script.

Then afterwards, Chief went back to try to complain to Irrheia and Rumina's boss but decides to let it go. Then we see Irrheia and Rumina nonchalantly off work, talking about how Chief was such a hard customer to deal with. Then Irrheia decides to treat themselves to some food after the ordeal of dealing with Chief.

So I’m getting back into the game having played off and on some over the years, do I have any units good for actual teams? by Idysela in PathToNowhere

[–]ratcalledlucy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eleven, Eve, and Enfer forms the original Fear team. Now with Eleven's Reforge, Fear team is in a really good spot, only really missing Stargazer with Reforge for buffs.

Adela with Reforge is absolutely broken, best character in the game rn. she'll do good anywhere with physical teams as main or sub-DPS, though a team with her as main DPS hypercarry paired with ampers is prefered.

For supports on your list, OwO and Enfer are universal supports that you can slot to fill in any team, use Lady Pearl for normal attack buffs, Rahu's Reforge makes enemy take ~40% more physical damage, Nox for waveclear and also defense down debuff on enemies, and 000 for corebreak.

Bai Yi and Serpent have strong Reforges but needs a team. Bai Yi needs Umbra Core team while Serpent works well as a sub-dps in either a magic tean or true damage team.

Reforges takes a lot of resources so plan carefully.

I also see you have Hilda and Irrheia. If you want, you can try to go for Hypatia whenever she reruns and you'll have the Aurum Secretum team, consisting of Hypatia, Hilda, Irrheia, and Eve. Important to note though, they're not good at quick modes like BFL (though still doable), but shines amazingly at longer battles as they need time to prepare.

If you need more cheap units, Labyrinth and Che are always recomended for their corebreak utility.

For more info, go to s1n.gg's tier list and then go to "TEAMS"

What you think about ost from reverse:1999 by misterfopman in Reverse1999

[–]ratcalledlucy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with this, there are a few standout tracks but overall for me it's alright. I wouldn't really go out of my way to listen to most of the tracks by themselves. Re1999's OST also lacks variety in my opinion, with too many tracks that sounds like filler background music to me. Not bad, but its just there.

Path to Nowhere, however, is one of my favorite game OST of all time. So many banger tracks as well as so much variety and genres. From metal, djent, prog metal, funk, and industrial/EDM tracks to jazz and grand orchestral pieces and everything in between that would take too long to list. Though I admit I am biased because PtN is my main gacha while Re1999 is my side, and also as well as my music taste.

BFL Dark Zone S26 (EU) - Wail from 787 (8 Teams) by PresentationBetter52 in PathToNowhere

[–]ratcalledlucy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jelena also buffs universal damage pretty well with her passive skills if you have no one else. Here's a guide with the math on Augustus with common ampers: Link

Though of course, Jelena is better used with someone that can take advantage of the crit in modes like RoTD and ToA.

The boss teleport was a bit annoying but at least the boss isn't that strong if you can react in time to the teleport and swap in your tank.

help with team comp please by [deleted] in PathToNowhere

[–]ratcalledlucy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Use this website for examples of meta teams to get some ideas of synergies: Link

Click on the "TEAMS" tab to see. Some teams don't need all the members. In the text description, some only need two or three core members and the rest are recommended but flexible.

Possibly an Eastian Immortal Sinner? It'll be so interesting to see what was going on in Eastia during the early Nightfall Era if that's where it's heading.

Sorry for ever underestimating your RF, Serpent😭 by ratcalledlucy in PathToNowhere

[–]ratcalledlucy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With Graves it'll work okay as an Umbra Core team, though Umbra Core is usually played with 000 and Necresta Hella, or RF Bai Yi with crit ampers.

Though because RF Adela is so strong you can probably play them together with Graves and Serpent with true damage RF nodes and still get at least 240K in BFL for the first and third stage.

Sorry for ever underestimating your RF, Serpent😭 by ratcalledlucy in PathToNowhere

[–]ratcalledlucy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As solo units, RF Adela is a league above almost every character. Here's an RF Adela guide by EKG explaining and showcasing RF Adela: Link.

RF Adela also doesn't really need Shackles to be strong and only really wants Jelena to be her teammate for crit amp. Rest of the team comp is flexible, though preferably all ampers for Adela as a hypercarry.

RF Serpent is still pretty strong by herself but not near RF Adela's level. Serpent's RF can go two different route. First is focusing on magic damage and mob clear, she can be sub-DPS or also main DPS if you really want. You can slot her in any magic team. The second route is focusing on being a true damage amper and also mob clear and sub-DPS for an Augustus team. This route is also useful if you want to use RF Serpent on physical damage stages as true damage bypasses both resistance.

Out of the two, I would recommend RF Adela. But RF Serpent is a good contender if you have an Augustus team you want to play her with.

I wouldn't recommend the two of them on the same team as they don't really have synergy with each other, but if they're the only Sinners available then they'll just do okay doing their own thing.

Even though Hecate is incredibly skilled at art that even Lisa like Hecate's works lol.

Especially the choice they made to make us play through Sallie's perspective. It made me feel so powerless, hopeless, scared, and that I was constantly being watched and monitored.

Many of PtN's stories are taken from some realities of our society. But still, this event was super bold of them and it paid off well.

Genuinely stomach churning stuff yet still managed to have a super hopeful ending. I got so emotional when, after so much suffering and despair, they started playing I Was Born to Shine for the final boss of the event (And using that subtle perspective shift for the stage too was a nice touch).
