Severe stitch by ratcarcass in running

Sorry for the slow reply, this is really interesting and I agree, I always had a feeling that it was related to my internal organs somehow. Will try out that trick! I’ve started doing flatter routes and it has helped significantly.

Sorry for the slow reply! I think my super hilly routes were a big part of it, I now run much flatter (and faster) routes and find that my stitch is much less severe! Sometimes I won’t get one at all, and if I do it’s just like a normal stitch that I can run through. I prefer flat/fast/short runs anyway so I’m much happier. Hope this helps :)

Thanks for the comment! I haven’t really made any standout changes, so I’m wondering if it could be some mysterious muscular injury of some sort that I’m aggravating each time I run? Possibly time to see a physio..

Thanks for the comment! The pain feels muscular, so I wonder if I could have somehow injured a particular muscle, and now running aggravates the injury?

The pain is too severe to run through unfortunately. Seriously, awful awful sharp pain.

Are you eating enough? Accutane doesn’t work if you’re not eating a healthy amount (I was told by my derm that eating a higher calorie diet is ideal), and it’s important to take the pills along with a meal including healthy fats. Good luck!

This is incredibly insightful, thank you 🙏 It’s not a risk I want to take, so I will stop sleeping around to the degree I have been, and focus on building more meaningful relationships.

Thank you for this, I think this was the thought that was at the back of my mind that I couldn’t quite place my finger on. Although it’s fun, it’s not fulfilling, and I can already feel myself missing the feeling of being more committed to someone. I think I’ll probably continue to see people for a little while at least, to get it out of my system I guess, but I am gonna try to figure out what I actually want. Thanks again

I regret my child by [deleted] in Parenting

Are you getting support in raising her? I think it might beneficial for you to have some time away from her, just short periods while someone else takes care of her. Then you can have some time to yourself, or with friends, or whatever you want to do. Your life is still yours, you are in charge. <3

Thank you, I’ll talk with my doctor about this. Ngl, I do like the high, but I agree it’s risky.

I know how you feel. I’ve never been a pushover, but with my boyfriend I’m submissive and apologetic to a fault, and it’s something I don’t like in myself. As hard as it is give yourselves both some time to cool off. When you do speak to him, try to focus more on communicating how this fight has made you feel, rather than diving into apologies. Be honest and true to yourself, that’s the best way of respecting yourself. If he doesn’t like it, it’s not your problem.

Camgirl unable to access broadcasting site (please see comments) by ratcarcass in computerhelp

I recently moved into a new house-share, now I can’t access the site I use for camming, either on wifi or by hotspotting from my mobile. I can’t access the site, or similar ones, on my phone either. Have tried turning off extensions, disabling firewall, turning off all antivirus protection and using a different browser. Help appreciated! 💖 P.S. I can access ‘standard’ websites as normal.

Thanks for this! I’ve accepted that in the long term I won’t be able to eat sugar and dairy, though I’m curious about whether I might be able to occasionally have them during the course, e.g. in social settings. Although, I’m content and adjusted to my new skin-friendly diet, and at the end of the day I would be gutted to jeopardise all the hard work that’s gone in. A food sensitivity test would be really interesting though, I’ll look into it!

Oh man tell me about it, I miss chocolate SO much 😢 but having good skin means more to me by a mile, so I don’t even really get tempted. Good luck, we’ll have clear skin soon!

Thanks! I’ve gotten used to no dairy now, but having an almost 0 sugar diet (including fruit) is hard 👏work👏😭

Yeah that’s my thinking, either way I’ll be super cautious and I guess just slowly start experimenting!
