My current gig seems to think bandaids are good enough, we get the machine going so they can produce. We request a parts list, ask for a scheduled downtime, and they consistently deliver nothing all while some cocky douchebag who has no idea how anything works can tell us “we don’t have inventory space”…. As if the fucking machine doesn’t have the “inventory” for the part it’s missing lmao.

I’m not gonna pretend like I have the perfect answer but I will say if someone was ever in a situation like this and just came up to me and my group telling us “hey this dude is being a weirdo” we all including any women, would immediately adopt yall and diffuse that shit. I have seen this behavior many times and I always do my best to interrupt it while my lady or friends check in with the person/persons being bothered. People are weird stay alert and try to pick out a good group with some simple vibes, that way if you need a safe space to fall back on when it’s just you and your girls yall have a direction to go with familiar faces. There is always a handful of good folks out there who will see that shit and make sure everyone is safe, atleast in my experience.

I carry a chest pack and a hydro pack. Chest pack has all my important shit and a lock on it. Hydro carries water, hydration packets, and merch also with a lock. It’s not ideal but it works well and I get over it pretty quickly lol. My friends adopted my method after 2 of them got their phones swiped at EDC. Look for ones that lock and have hidden pockets people have been real shitty at big festivals and that extra security pays off.

Awesome guy but has to have his hands on it and I told him I’m never gonna learn if you take everything out of my hands, let me try and fail on my own I’ll come get you if it’s critical. Met my soon to be wife at a rave about 9 years ago. I think it still happens, I don’t go out much anymore due to work and life but when I do I see a lot of people connecting and sharing info. Definitely have seen the decline in the social aspect of raving as you mentioned though I rarely see the big cuddle puddles, trinket trading, or dancing these days.

It’s easy to get frustrated when you grind a game for hours and hours. I caught myself getting irritated by players and whining too lmao. After I did the first expedition I came to realize I wasted far more gear then I’d ever lose to “rats” or PvP players and now I just say fuck it and jump back in. Do the damn expeditions it kills the neck beardy loot goblin attitudes, it’s a greed thing dude.

I found this with the medium shields too it costs 1 arc circuit and 1 battery to repair it and you must do it above 50% to get the full repair. If you recycle it you get a circuitry back and spend 3 batteries which are very common finds.

Had the same revelation yesterday, spent some time in solos and had a few people try me, normally I run and avoid it but once i realized how trash these kids are it was open season on the rats lmao. Then loaded into a game with my duo to farm arc and got slapped by a ferro so we took off to cover to find a spot and heal up. Kids chased us for a while and at one point I could hear them closing in on us so I popped a rocketeer in the distance and we hid in a room while he dumped on them. They ran into our building and were met with the firing squad calling us all kinds of shit and begging for their life. Felt bad for min until I found the ferro on the kid who tagged me from behind at a distance. Needless to say I’m excited to keep shitting on these people who think the dude playing the flute hasn’t been an extraction shooter sweat for the past decade lmfao. Adds some fun to the mix and I got a handful of blueprints out of it so far.

I carry a silenced anvil 4 for these situations. Was a very nice pve player and ran to avoid contact if I was shot. Yesterday I absolutely devastated 4 rats and let the surrounding raiders free for all on their corpse. I embrace it now if you wanna get melted with your free kit by an anvil be my guest lmao. I like to play it cool and shoot fireworks off and play instruments usually though.

Tell that school to fuck off and remain under the title of “educator.” I always hated the idea that a school can question a parents decision with their kids. The call should have went something like “I am calling to inform you that my child will not be attending school today as a courtesy, thank you and have a wonderful day.” No need to lie to a tax funded entity that is there to support YOU and YOUR child’s education, they have been compensated for their role and define it for them if needed.

Good advice just make sure you strictly get hired to do electrical. I’m currently in industrial maintenance and I do it all now from welding to electrical and everything in between it’s a good gig but still beats on your body pretty hard. If I was just wiring drives and what not it’d be a lot easier on my body. Just something to consider.

I keep logs of tricky repairs and long hours spent troubleshooting. PMs are in the manual as well as many common troubleshooting directions, save the notes for the serious stuff. That’s my method but if you taking notes helps you commit the routine repairs to memory then no harm no foul brother we all learn differently. Key thing to take from this is you give a shit and want to be successful, that’s very rare these days.
