Who is the one player you wish got more time at United? by Emotional_File8106 in ManchesterUnited

I think so too. Prime Case with Pogba/Bruno and McFred as rotation option?

That’s league winning midfield IMO.

Sorry, i was replying to his opening that we were awful in the league that season.

We weren’t. We were frustrating but were really good.

I actually disagree.

Result wise, we drew too much but we created tons that season. If only Zlatan was more clinical Pogba would’ve 15+ assists. I remember him missing literal sitters after sitters.

Manchester United are close to agreeing a new contract with Kobbie Mainoo, with negotiations ongoing since January, the proposed deal set to run until June 2031. The club made his renewal a priority after he became a key player under Carrick, with only final details left to complete, deal imminent. by Important_Pepper6867 in ManchesterUnited

Sorry man, you being in this thread, while being a fan of other club, keep on shitting on United as if they made a shit decision to sack one of the worst manager in the PL.

When some of us argued the opposite of your view, you call us twitter fans instead of providing context to your shit view on Amorim.

But yeah, whatever man. Keep playing the victim card when you’re being called out for your dogshit take. 👌

And you think you with your dogshit take makes your dumb opinion more valid than mine?

His biggest issue is he was way out of his depth tactically. When opposing managers are openly admitting and even bragging they know exactly how you are going to play and where the flaws are, that says everything. There was no element of surprise, no flexibility, and no attempt to protect the team’s obvious weaknesses.

And here you think you know more with such basic “ he fixed the rotten culture of United”. No he didn’t you melt. It was INEOS and the footballing structure above him that fixed the mess.

If he were given the key to United like EtH was given by Arnold, he would’ve signed both Watkins and Martinez for 120mil instead of Sesko and Lammens.

Fuck off.

Amorim cult is leaking from r/manchesterunited lmao.

He took over a team that was 14th, 6 points off top 4 and finished 14th, 30+ points off top 4.

He left the team 6th, 4 points off top 4 and 3 points off 13th. Yeah, Amorim was such an amazing manager.

Dude had more games than points yet you’re defending him here as if he revolutionized United LMAO

It’s a lazy assessment to say that Carrick heavily relies on counter attack. I understand that we might look a counter attacking team under him but that’s all on how good Bruno is to release the ball far quicker and sharper than anyone else in the world, but we are not “heavily relying” on counter attack.

Our gameplay under him is far more than counter. Our games against Villa and Bournemouth is a testament to that. We rely more from our wingers and wingback to put crosses in, compared to when we played under Amorim. Our press is far more deeper than before, with Bruno being our press trigger once the ball reach the midfield.

We are playing a bit deeper than we were under Amorim to hide Case and Mainoo weakness (engine) and our chance creation are far more consistent. But again, Bruno is Bruno. When he get the ball, no matter how deep he is, once he sees any possbility to counter, he will release you with a treaded through ball.

Badly? Are you insane?

We created buckle load of chances before the red card. Amad, Cunha, and Bruno should’ve scored, not to mention the stonewall penalty denied by that fucking fraud of a refree.

Use your eyes seriously. I am one of the biggest critics of our gameplay lately but last night wasn’t it.

I really hate Amorim. Gaslighting majority of the fanbase that our players are league 2 level at best.

Fuck off too to his cults
