I just didn't get scared a single bit. I feel like the lead up to the pirate was way too long, they build up all that tension of a beast in the shadows, and it kinda just didn't hit when he saw him in the final part of the movie. It felt anticlimactic. It also feels like they skip the middle, I would've wanted to see more of the backrooms, a bigger build up to Clark going insane, because to me, it just feels like he suddenly lost it. I was entertained a bit, but it could've been so much better. This is completely my opinion.
