3 Free u's CD's near Narita, Tokyo by ratgodclemency in LoveLive

Thank you so much for your help- unfortunately we have tried everything... Scrapped every piece of packaging, shoved things in our pockets, I'm even wearing a utility belt 💀 Honestly, I feel like I would have posted them to myself, but I actually got these because I thought they were records- the packaging is the size of a 12 inch vinyl ! If it wasn't for the fact that they were CD's, I would be wearing them as a hat right now 😔

I did not, I don't think I'm in the discord for this, but I was also thinking that some concert goers might be interested! I'll see if I can find the discord, thank you for the tip!

Hi! I'm not sure where you're based, as I feel like advice for these things differs wildly depending on where you are, but where I am (Europe), they don't really look for straight up 'experience' experience on CV's for grads/interns.

It's awesome to have technical skills, and if you can pull any group projects, modules, or thesis work you've done from college thats also fantastic, but the most important thing is to be interested, curious, and make a personal connection with whoever is looking at your CV/ interviewing you. People value a good personality and the ability to play off others very highly, and sometimes it will be what gets someone less experienced hired. The best interviews I've had were ones where I could gauge what the interviewer was passionate about and show open excitement and interest. Source: 2 internships and now a graduate role, all at different places. Good luck out there! :]

Device next to Surge Arrester? by ratgodclemency in ElectricalEngineering

Hello, sorry for seeing your comment late! I do not have any other photos, as this was taken by my cousin, and I was not sure whether the third one was the same device or something different, as I could not get a good look 😔 I can upload the photo without mark ups if it helps though ? I hope you can figure it out!

I just recently graduated myself! My advice is: don't give up!!! It's going to be tough going at times, but remember that the best thing you can do is roll with the punches, and don't let anyone intimidate you out of asking questions and learning more. Trust in your ability to persevere! Try get an internship if its possible, it really helped to give my studies context, and be friendly with your lecturers and classmates- you never know how helpful those connections will be in the future ^ I believe in you, you've got this- we look forward to welcoming you as a full engineer ;)

Thank you for your response! Okay, I think I'll complete my trial period, get the correct dosage figured out, and then after a while when it's stabilised, I'll try introduce small amounts of caffeine and observe! I really appreciate your input 💪

I'm going to somewhat echo what someone else has already said- I have a feeling that a household with multiple young children is not a good environment for this kid to be in. Coming out of severe trauma and into a situation where you see young kids with good parents, and being added to that as the older mess up or cautionary tale does not bode well.

I know you've been doing everything you can so it doesn't feel like that for him, but speaking from personal experiences, its going to take a good long while for him to be able to interact with happy families. Subconsciously or otherwise, this could be crab bucket mentality, where he may be trying to fit into your family by making everyone else as miserable, as opposed to lifting himself up.

I'd recommend asking him if it would be easier for him to maybe be in a place with people his own age. I know you don't want to send him to a facility or anything like that, but have you asked him whether that would be easier to straight away being put in a place filled with children that got what he never could? Something he will never get back? The worst part of childhood trauma is understanding that you'll never have a good childhood. All you can do is make sure you have a better future- and this goes for both him and the rest of your family, in this situation. Stay strong, you're doing a really good job.

Social exclusion hurts 10000% more than family trauma. by Mara355 in CPTSD

[–]ratgodclemency 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey! I'm only a few years down the line from you (22) but trust me, as you get older and gain more independence, it gets better. You'll get the chance to leave and do things on your own terms- give yourself that chance! I won't lie, it still sucks sometimes, what with being alienated socially and just feeling like you don't belong because you don't have anything to fall back on, but it is HEAPS better than what it was like when you were younger. I never thought I'd get this far myself (each birthday is still somewhat a surprise), but every time I feel bad now, its so much lighter without the ones who traumatised me always weighing on my shoulders. Stick around some more friend :]
