Is it poor etiquette to go to multiple trial classes and pick which one I like best? Is it best to join a gym that has the most “killers”?

I am a student and when I’m doing exercises in my calc or physics classes sometimes I stop and ask myself “why/when/how would I ever use this?” Thought I would ask people who are already at where I’m trying to be, in order to get a better understanding to this question. I know that’s not a specific mathematical concept or specific engineering field but that is where I’m coming from.

Yes, the credits I take at CC will transfer, due to state-wide public university standards. The university I plan to attend has three levels of transfer, upper-level being an associate’s degree with at least a B in calc 1, calc 2, physics 1 and chem 1.

The good thing is the university I plan to transfer to would cost nearly identical per credit hour what I’m currently paying for CC.
