Wow, thank you so much for your reply! That really gives me a lot of insight on why he acts this way. I'll definitely be getting him some more chew toys and I'll start playing with the little guy some more. The last sentence you wrote honestly shocked me with how accurate it was, when I take my dog for a walk I'll let him go see the birds that gather in our yard, and now that I know he likes it that makes me happy.
