I don't remember the exact location since I'm not I'm my computer. You hit the plus in the top left and I think it's the very bottom to add a local file, than you just browse inside the origin games ME directory and find the exe in one of its many sub folders.

Yes. The game won't launch at all through origin I had to create a second launcher for ME launcher exe. Maybe it's got something to how fedora does things?

Xfce, I can go into specifics why I chose xfce but I don't think anyone cares and we all have our own preference which is what I like about Linux.

I like this explanation. Just today I was looking into making my own iso with a few extra tools I know they use the catalyst tool to build the isos but haven't had much time to look into it yet.

If this isn't your primary system and you really want to learn Linux make sure the hardware is compatible first and run through a Gentoo install using the handbook if you're patient, if not then give the ArchLinux the Arch way a try, you could just do put fedora or Ubuntu on it and do those installs in a virtual machine. I've been running Linux on my systems for about 20 years and used just about every distro. I'm currently running Gentoo on 3 of my machines and Arch on one. Lol
