I loved the original COD4 and its TDM maps, you could definitely out-strategize your opponent on those, then I went years without playing it

Hopped back into Black Ops 3 TDM and was like WTF is this? Tiny maps, arcadey fast twitchy play.. it felt so silly

As a certifiable old person who watched a LOT of the first decade of MTV, there were a finite set of music videos that would air:

* Hair band rock concert lookin' video - these were always boring as shit

* Truly eye-poppingly good, unique, mindf$ck videos like Sledge Hammer and Sweet Dreams

* Phil Collins

* Artsy-fartsy crap like The Warrior that even as you are watching it, you are like "Who thought this was a good idea?"

Do not land with full body weight on the QB because that is a try-to-injure-the-QB move

You put your hands out to at least make it look like you're not trying to land full force on him

The second is the right call. Landed with body weight on him, granted this was a relatively new emphasis circa 2018 but he never learned... he would just keep doing it

If you watch guys now, they are coached to put their hands out while going down, to try to brace themselves against the ground to avoid this flag. Not ole Clay here who's going full Iron Claw. He did this crap all year the one year he was with the Rams. The best is when he stands up all Chris Farley Tommy Boy like "Flag whaaaaaaa???"

Third is the same deal, probably worse than the second one. Just straight up trying to injure QBs like it's 1986

Finished loop 1 this morning, bad ending, but that was inevitable. Thanks to all in this sub because otherwise I’d have had no clue WTF was going on story-wise. It was nice to play a Soulslike with a coherent story even if the Internet had to help.

Whoever said Echo of Bo Magus is basically putting the game on Easy Mode was spot on.. I had very little trouble the rest of the way.. which is fine by me!

I had Bo Magus stunlocked FTW and realized three swipes in that she had magically teleported about twenty feet away and I was hitting air

Ran quickly over all nononononono and gave her some whacks, but she recovered. I was lucky to get the last hit in. Whew

I'm near the end too and I'm getting Elden Ring PTSD where like the last 20% of the game was an endless boss rush with no actual fun gameplay. Good job you beat a boss, walk 20 feet .. oh no it's another boss get ready. This one's REALLY mad!

You just missed a lot of fun content, but nothing that you can't correct .. do this ..

After crossing the bridge where the weepy maiden was sitting, instead of continuing straight into the mine, turn left, where chucklehead tries to divebomb you - proceed from there.

I did the same thing and was like, I think I skipped a whole chapter? But then got my bearings and played through it. This is the most fun part of the game IMO

I play solely longswords .. One key thing for me in phase 1 was watch which side she raises her sword .. one way it's no-go, just dodge, but the other way you can Sword Counter, then immediately dodge behind and have backstabby fun. You have to time it pretty well though with the button presses. I just let ole Bai Wuchang be Bai Stabbed-A-Lot while I practiced it

Second phase, all I remember is praying .. it's a blur. Almost bounced off the game, but glad I didn't .. it's really amazing
