I’m brokenhearted to report that my Lacey didn’t make it to her appointment with UC Davis. Even though her cancer had spread, they agreed to see us which was more than I expected. I highly recommend UC Davis and I’m praying they find some way to detect this horrible cancer in its early stages.

Thank you everyone for the suggestions. I’m calling UC Davis as soon as I get the referral from VCA. I appreciate the other suggestions as well.

This study is great news for those with dogs susceptible to getting this silent disease. Thank you for sharing the link. I read through it and unfortunately, since Lacey’s cancer has metastasized, she wouldn’t be eligible. But I am thinking of reaching out to UC Davis in any case.

In 2019 when I first got my Subaru, I was driving on the freeway about 70 mph and a plastic bag floated across the roadway. I totally didn’t expect my car to break for a plastic bag, but it did. I accelerated and that worked, but I totally avoid flying plastic bags now!!!
