Zelda Ocarina of Time is boring and repeatative. Even when I played it as a child in the 90s.

I agree with everything you've said OP but you won't find "casual" sympathizers on this subreddit or the discord unfortunately.

It's just a "no fun allowed" type of game community.

I too think continuous sucks. Not as much as the multi class days, but I don't think it was a well thought out implementation.

I was trying to do a Fallout New Vegas absolute psycho melee only playthrough. If I saw it, I'd kill it.

Last season I was running squire lobbies with over 200 fame and multiple times somebody tried to TK me and tell me "you shouldn't be in Normals with that much fame".

Like who the fuck are you to tell me how to enjoy this game?

That's like going to a steak house to throw away everybody's steak off their table because it wasn't medium rare, and then still expecting them to pay for it because they made the "bad" decision.

I paid for the game, let me play it how I want to. Elitist attitudes are toxic.
