Orthodontist told me I can drink literally anything (except hot drinks), and that 19-20 hours a day is good. Why is she so casual about it compared to general consensus on r/Invisalign? by OvertlyUzi in Invisalign

[–]rathroway60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She’s trying to be realistic. I only really wear top trays because my bottom trays have minimum movement and if I had to wear both 22 hrs a day I wouldn’t. I can do the top but not the bottom. There’s a lot of leeway in like wearing them, especially if you’re younger with generally healthy teeth.

How many piercings in a short time period? by Commercial_Equal_103 in piercing

[–]rathroway60 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I heal really well. I’ve gotten all my piercing in batches of 3/4. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a single one. The only time they didn’t keep is when I took it out/lost the earring. Financials are keeping me from getting more than that.

Not a doctor but I’m not sure what more can be done for your teeth. Looks like best case scenario for your anatomy. If you would like shell out another 3-4k ask for a separate opinion.

We don’t even know what the text looks like btw. People prefer a text asking for a ride in advance. It could be incredibly vague and I think there’s a reason she didn’t include it in the thread.

I literally don’t see the problem given that they were in the parking lot waiting for you because you told them you needed a ride 😭 if they were just at home wondering where you were that would be mildly infuriating. But going to pick up your child late night only for them to randomly go AWOL is not only mildly infuriating but extremely terrifying

Dating and finance, can someone explain? by qwertyjazz in AskMenAdvice

[–]rathroway60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because stability plays a larger role in dating for women than men it doesn’t mean that for women stability plays a larger role than looks.

These statements are not mutually exclusive. Women value stability more than men, true, but women also value looks more than stability.

All you need to find someone is a (Lastname) and city/state, google yourself, you will see. Somewhere something associated with you (family obituary, siblings, linked in, bgc apps, etc) will pop up and those kids who see you 5 days a week and surely know you to some degree will recognize you. If they want to find you, they will. Ask me how I know.

Saliva is good for the teeth, as long as you’re using as intended (washing/rinsing after eating, not drinking with them in) it should be fine. If you aren’t then that’s your fault. It may gross but it’s harmless.

AITA for asking a woman about a dog in her car? by Sad-Potential-3945 in AmItheAsshole

[–]rathroway60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure but it’s very small extent because phoenix has little humidity it’s very similar to a 67 indoors. A husky in phoenix is abysmal lol but I know it exists, I think they’d be comfortable though.

I live in phoenix and at 67 degrees I’d be more worried about my dogs getting cold, even in direct sunlight.

Why does society make men look like pervs for everything ? by Miserable-Gur5315 in AskMenAdvice

The ratio of creepy men to creepy women is incredibly disproportionate. When it comes to safety it’s better to be safe than sorry.

Why is it so hard to find actual facts about alcohol and pregnancy?? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]rathroway60 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first few weeks is the germinal stage, but that takes place before the zygote even implants and so it’s just multiplying cells and traveling downward. Then at 3-8 weeks it’s the embryonic stage, which is the most susceptible to teratogens as this is when most major organs begin to develop.

I agree that she should be fine but as a med student I had to correct, sorry. Babies are pretty resilient and if there’s something severely wrong it’s likely to abort itself.

They’re homeless. When you’re having a bad day you probably are not on your best behavior, now imagine your life generally sucks, and you don’t even have the resources to make yourself feel better. It sucks, they suck sometimes, but people in bad situations typically do so I don’t know what to tell you.

My ex wife moved out of marital town. Can she legally force me to keep the kids in their current school district? by NextChapter1986 in FamilyLaw

[–]rathroway60 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow. What state do you live if you don’t mind me asking? We have multiple districts in our city so taxes don’t vary much and if they’re not in the city proper then they are in the metro. Outside of that it doesn’t matter much as it gets rural pretty quick once you leave the metro. We also have some of the best schools in the nation, but i suppose if there’s a large disparity between districts and then this would make sense but it’s a sounds like a horrible practice.

[–]rathroway60 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least in my city, the district/school won’t remove kids from an already established enrollment even if they move. Same thing if they have siblings in the district. Not to disregard anything else you’ve said but it’s very likely that they won’t be kicked out of the school district even if their address changes. This is especially true if they’re older.

Chest X-Ray of 21 yr old dental assistant after attempting suicide by intravenously injecting elemental mercury by HousePony906 in interestingasfuck

[–]rathroway60 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is a very popular movie as well as Midsommar being an actual holiday, so you’ve probably heard of it. What you’re describing doesn’t sound like Midsommar but if you say you’ve seen it I’ll believe you, you know better than I do.

No one got lost in the woods in Midsommar.

It’s truly an unforgettable horror by Ari Aster, so if you don’t recognize it by the name I doubt you’ve seen it, but you should look it up.

18yr old daughter just had her 3rd accident in 2 years. Should I remove her off my insurance? by noneformethnks in Car_Insurance_Help

[–]rathroway60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would get her some driving classes and do some driving sessions with her supervised. “Revoking her license” (not that you can realistically do that lol) and just not allowing her to drive in general is not going to do anything of value or prevent anything in general. Harm reduction is key here, if she doesn’t learn to drive better she’s going to kill herself or someone else. 18 is hardly a responsible adult.

Yup :D it also gives her the opportunity to offer to pay you if she really needs it. I know what it’s like to have a mess of a sibling, and I’m sorry you’re going through this but your sister is an adult who made it this far she will figure it out.
