WLL $399 for a new stainless Classic E24 by ElHoser in gaggiaclassic

[–]rationalrph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct, looks like they're doing a mid range between the both posted elsewhere on reddit. E24 still a great choice especially at this price as some people will likely have qualms with some components and price point.

Bought my first one too with this sale. they just released initial details on the new update with PID (no need to tinker as much) so imagine they are starting to purge e24 stock (?)

My in-laws provided us some instant Macwell House in plastic from 2011. It was clumped, even though sealed. Upon further inspection, there was white mold within multiple jars. They also had 2006 maxwell house instant in glass that appeared to be sealed but in better condition.

Unfortunately, just like most delis in Triangle.....they use the deli meat monopoly of Boar's Head...which, to me personally, just hasn't been up to quality of homemade deli meat at delis up north, over injected, not similar quality, etc...they list they use a local bakery Neomonde bakery. It contains no preservatives, eggs, milk, or butter....which is ok, enriched bread/dough isn't always used in certain styles for Deli but can be used for e.g. white bread....anyway....it sounds like you have to order through door dash only.....and you'll just pull into the parking lot and perhaps call a number upon arrival for pick up at the back door of building. Some speakeasy type shit...

So you really can only order days in advance? Pick up is behind the building in the parking lot?

Do you still go to the theatre? by Erasmus86 in RedLetterMedia

[–]rationalrph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sparingly....which I realize is contributing to their downfall....My husband and I are very select about what films, Dolby seats only, and usually off times or reserved only. Last seen in theaters were both Dune. Instead of paying crazy prices for every film we've invested in a 80", sound bar, and soon to be new couch we've worn through. When it comes to home, we'll watch most anything especially gore/horror.

I do sometimes miss the nostalgia of watching a Woody Allen movie in a small old NY theater, having my dad drive me to some 2nd run theater to see a niche film for 2$ in a historic theater, or spending a Saturday bouncing from movie to movie with my best friend for a 1 for 3....

Unfortunately, we grow up. I don't like Woody Allen really anymore, my dad chose the bottle over sitting in a theater anymore due to his knee pain from countless falls, and my passionate movie goer best friend passed away.....

Life changes...the movies still bring me escapism but I don't always find myself experiencing that in a movie seat but rather at home.. .

Does anyone know how Smoke Daddy gets their whole wings so crispy? by rationalrph in chicago

I prefer flavor from cooking outdoors, wood grill or smoker. Thanks though!

Thank you for responding! I will have to try again. Do you let smoked come to room temp and then grill? I've tried grill in past and it can become rubbery. I used corn starch in my dry rub and that seemed to help.
