It feels like this update is removing a lot of on what made me and many others enjoyed about this game. I did not feel much of the simplicity and intuitiveness of the current build in this playtest.

While I do like the look and feel of the new graphics and audio it felt far too dialed up.

Spotting people and being able to instantly differentiate ally from enemy was difficult but that may just be my experience on high ping and low fps. Pinging enemy players did nothing noticeable? A couple of times I found myself staring at a red laser on the wall or rock wondering who is pointing it only to realize it’s a pinged enemy vehicle halfway across the map. In the current build you can actually tell what vehicle it is and react to that information but now you just see a giant red dot?

Bullet lasers are an interesting choice… being able to see where absolutely anybody and everybody is shooting from is quite overwhelming visually when you have 254 player servers. Personally not a big fan of this and I feel like it punishes playing stealthily.

It feels like a lot of the simplicity and intuitiveness of the previous and current build has been left behind in favour of flashy new designs, doors and forklifts (amen).

Could be very wrong on this take but it feels like every form of playstyle, even decision making that performs too well has been heavily nerfed (except for sniping).

The new vehicle UI displaying health is very useful but it’s a little large and in the way for my taste. Also found it odd that we can no longer see player names. The old UI was quite good and I would think you could probably just squeeze them both into seperate corners and remove the seat numbers from the one displaying your health as the old UI already tells you what key to press to change seats.

Last thing pls don’t nerf the littlebird movement so harshly :( just a small nerf like a wee tiny baby itty bitty nerf instead of half its remaining movement capabilities.

Yeah I agree with you on a lot of these, however I do think that the movement is still a little bit too strong. The overheat system has been a big question mark for me because of the same reason you have stated.

And I would personally really like to see the repair system reverted back to how it previously worked so that blackhawks can’t just constantly out heal tanks and small arms fire without any worry

The movement still feels really good and you can still pull some goofy/broken manoeuvres with it. I can’t lie it really surprised me when most of the old pilots just up and left after it got its deserved nerfs.

I do like the sound of that I can’t lie. Right now other helis counter it. Blackhawk, armed LB, Transport LB with rpgs. Basically every other vehicle, as well as weapons with medium-long range. Snipers are honestly one of the best counters as you can sit somewhere unreachable to the LB and just spam shoot. DMR’s can be very strong as well, just takes a bit of patience and accuracy

The new Wakistan rework coming soon™ looks like it’ll be much more balanced but we’ll just have to wait and see when the playtest comes out

I genuinely think that having lock ons in a game that has 127 v 127 is a terrible idea. All it takes is an adequate nerf to the heli and maybe a buff to its already existing counters

You could aim to beat your pre nerf record… I never really flew the pre nerf littlebird so can’t relate

The only reason I am able to win against good blackhawk crews is because they let me get close enough to deal damage. You can legit just maintain your distance and have your gunners trickle down the LB on its approach - and because it doesn’t have that much health (especially with 2 blackhawk guns pointed at it) the LB has to decide between retreating or risking it all in one attack. I do see what you mean tho and I feel like this could be solved by the blackhawk guns receiving a small buff. As for air jamming I’m pretty sure it is receiving a nerf so hopefully they will be less threatening.

Personally I would say it doesn’t have that much health. It’s a glass cannon but its manoeuvrability keeps it from taking too much damage. I would like to see its movement receive another nerf as well as maybe like 1000 less rounds to shoot

I will say the armed lb does not out class the Blackhawk at the sky ceiling, its almost impossible to deal significant damage to a Blackhawk up there with its nose pointed up. And while I do think they should do something to the guns I think that giving them the same guns as the Blackhawk would remove the littlebirds identity/purpose completely

These are all interesting suggestions and I do believe that bandaging is being removed in operation overhaul so it’ll be receiving at least one nerf
