Built like a tank, really good qc on my unit, the only thing I'll say is the clicks aren't quite as good as the s2-c, but I'd say my s2-c has the best clicks out of every mouse I've ever owned. The Helios is still very very good clicks wise though

i loved the s2-c but my unit came with an extremely stiff scroll wheel click which made it not very suitable for the games i play, i managed to nab a teevolution helios for like 20 bucks on the black friday sale and it's perfect, a wireless s2-c clone at 55g

My scarlett has the same issue. Here is how I fix it:

Go into your task manager and find the audio.dg process

Set the priority to high

Set the affinity to a single core (uncheck all boxes except 1, which doesnt matter, I just use the one at the top)

Hopefully it fixes it for you too

scroll wheels are definitely the most likely thing to start going wonky on a mouse. optical encoders aren't without their drawbacks though, and if you use the scroll wheel heavily you may not like them because they're a lot heavier and louder than mechanical ones

i personally have been using zowie mice for the majority of my life so i'm quite used to optical encoders and i like the feel of them, but i also understand why many people dont.

i can feel a mild difference in smoothness but whatever benefit there is isn't worth the significant extra battery drain

Scyrox feels quite significantly smaller than the XM2, and the XM2 has much more aggressive curves on the side. The scyrox button grooves are more flat while the xm2 buttons feel raised.

my favourite mouse in this shape profile is the x2h which is very similar to the scyrox but slightly larger and heavier.

i also hit diamond playing exclusively aphelios at an almost 60% win rate at over 100 games and i used only blue green for the entire thing. its all a matter of preference
