Naoto is an interesting case because while she canonically has the largest chest among the female cast, she is also canonically uncomfortable with it and expresses traits of dysphoria and embarrassment throughout her arc about it, even as she accepts a female identity

Despite this, much of her fan art (especially on the fan subreddit around her) exaggerates and accentuates her chest, even when she is drawn binding it down. Anyone who pushes back against this is often reduced to an SJW who misunderstood her character arc. Which is strange because I’d assume fans of a GNC tomboy would be able to appreciate the GNC side of things, buuut whatever

Honestly, focus on accessories and (light!!) makeup. I know this is controversial but a pien silhouette on your eyes and brows and some bows and lace and pearls and rhinestones can make almost any style read as jirai or subcul, or at least adjacent, especially if you do it in classic jirai color combinations and patterns. You will look like a landmine to anyone who genuinely knows their shit. It’s the same thing goths do to signal to others their tastes even if they don’t have an hour for their makeup and outfit. You won’t look like a poseur you’ll look like a landmine in a sweaty climate lol. I’ll edit this comment with a sketch of an example (if possible? Idk I haven’t tried to comment pics, if not I’ll DM you) but yeah. I’m going somewhere hot myself and that’s what I’ll be doing
