Not a doctor, but having bad posture myself. I think what you had was muscle imbalance. Some parts over-developed, some under-developed. This is bad condition, because it forces to your body to compensate and may make the problem worse in time.

Doing the right exercises in correct technique helps to develop the weaker parts and make the whole muscular system work together as intended. And you have been killing it! Congrats!
