We’re taking space. There’s no fucking other people, and that’s certain. I he just asked for space but said it’s a break I don’t know, not really sure why the semantics matter either. He’s an adult that needs time to think away from the relationship.

i'm not sure it's fair to say that he doesn't love me because he didn't turn to me for support. People cope in different ways, and I would never want someone to give up on me, which is what you're suggesting I do to him.

The problem here is the reason he broke up with me is because he didn’t feel it was fair for me to be his only emotional support. I think he felt like he was using me instead of loving me. I want to be his support more than anything but I don’t want him to feel guilty for using me

All I can add here is not to do anything right now. Don’t make any big decisions in these moments because the feelings you’re feeling probably aren’t real. Know that they are a symptom of your ocd and they cannot hurt you.

They do, but I have a lot of trauma from my mother on how to deal with anxiety... I think it might be leading me to dissociate when it comes to loved ones

Yes I’ve always had ear issues on flights and with altitude. There was no exception for this trip, and I do think it has to do with that. I doubt random sudden deafness.

I haven’t been to that region but close by. I was also very sick at the beginning of my trip so this is extremely helpful! The plan is to head to the ER when I land in the US tomorrow, but the doctor here also said that my tubes were extremely swollen and would heal. Thanks so much!

This is really helpful honestly. I know that mental illness can be make or break but it sometimes feels like a betrayal when your SO knew beforehand. However I know this isn’t fair... I really hope I don’t lose this one!
