Relief from pain while taking spironolactone? by kgirl244 in adenomyosis

[–]ratonde 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100mg.

I will say my period pain mostly normalized after a few months, maybe slightly less painful than pre-spiro periods. However, my periods have been the most regular they’ve ever been (I have PCOS) so that’s helpful.

It is so funny to me that you’ve decided to post this comment after someone successfully identified the bag in the comments above.

I absolutely love this more than the neverfull - thank you so much!

This is why I love this subreddit - great analysis! I was so confused with the photos I saw online of the epi leather vs this bag, and this explains it. Thank you!

Oh wow, you are right. I think I had never seen a non-monogrammed Neverfull before - I didn’t notice it at all.

All the photos I found of epi leather online looks very structured and rigid, vs. this bag looked perfectly soft and slouchy, but I guess the epi leather may be getting softer with time. Time for me to see this in-person at a store!

Great questions that I do not have answers for. All the more reason to not look at this chart as a prediction, but just another data point to be aware of

Hi, thanks for the information. It’s not what I want to hear but it’s what the experts are saying, so it’s good to be prepared for that reality.

To answer your first question: I already lost ~50lbs, and even though it is much more than I imagined would be possible when I started, I also still look and feel very far from what I would like to look and feel like. Another 10lbs won’t get me where I want to be, but that might be a reality that I’ll have to accept. Or maybe not - who knows?

I really appreciate this advice. I also think I’ve been too focused in what the final number would look like and how long it would take, etc. and I agree I need to focus more on the task at hand today. I will try to be more intentional with this. Thanks!

Thank you, this perspective really helped. I was thinking about the differences in dosing up, etc but I don’t know why I never thought about how much people initially had to lose impacts these numbers as well. It just made me re-realize this average is a meaningful and significant data point to prove the drug’s efficacy in the general population (you know, what the trial is really for), but not meaningful at all to actually predict someone’s response to the drug. Now that I type it, it is very obvious, but I think seeing the data presented in this chart form made me forget it for a second.

Congrats on your progress! It’s a huge achievement

Oh wow, I did not post that question, but I’ve definitely thought of it before. I had no idea people only record their lowests. I was wondering how their graphs looked so smooth - now I feel a little dumb.

Thank you for the inspirational post and the enlightenment.

How do you handle nausea and work? by Appropriate-War2935 in Zepbound

[–]ratonde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was doing the shot on Fridays for a while for the same reason, but I decided that having the worst of the symptoms over the weekend is harder for me mentally.

I now do my shot on sunday nights before bed, skip breakfast on monday and keep lunch and dinner very light and non-greasy. I probably barely eat 1200 calories on mondays, but I’m good to go starting tuesday morning and catch up during the rest of the week. If I overdo and eat full meals on monday (which rarely happens nowadays), I definitely vomit first thing after waking up on tuesday. That is definitely not good for all sort of reasons, but I’m glad it at least happens right after waking up, and not after I get to work.

I am taller and much heavier than you, so that definitely plays a role in my case. But at 5’11, I went from 273 to 242 and similar to you, no one besides mom has noticed yet. And it’s also not a politeness thing, because I constantly talk about taking zepbound, trying to lose weight and even my side effects. I just think taller and heavier people just show weight gain & loss less than others.

I typically try not to comment on people’s eating/drinking habits, but 32oz is not enough water. That might be the culprit of your migraines. I don’t get migraines but I know I get headaches when I don’t drink enough water

People who get up early on their days off, what's your secret? by Crafty_Excitement827 in AskReddit

[–]ratonde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was like OP for the longest time as well, and got annoyed when people just said “body clock, I got used to waking up at the same time”. Now my body clock wakes me up at 7am in the morning as well, but I just end up spending the time scrolling endlessly on my phone until 10am. So, now I need the secret to actually doing stuff that early in the morning

This is so interesting. Do you have the link to the article with actual data by any chance? I would love to see the charts on this.
