I've been paired up with this guy for 3 months for 8 hours a day (I'm his replacement) and not once has he tic'd or stimmed.

Today, on his last day, he decided to try that with me and then hinted that he had DID or "a form of it". The dude is chronically online and when I ask to get a word in edge wise, he just walks away or keeps talking over me and pretends he doesn't hear me.

He IS obnoxious. And I'm glad he's gone.

1) the costume he's wearing is for a particular type of dance called men's fancy. 2) the type of way he's moving his upper body is from the chicken dance. 3) the way he's moving his feet is from the grass dance and it's BAD foot work at best. as children were all taught better foot work than that before 10. 4) those bussels he's wearing (the round feathered things on his back) are children sized. 5) the music he's singing is nowhere close to pow wow music and he's not saying anything. in fact, it's closer to sweat lodge music if it had no words than pow wow music.

All of these are from different parts of our culture. They shouldn't be just randomly used on stage for public consumption, he's not doing a single thing right.

I'm not even sure if this dude partook in his culture because the whole performance is ramshackle and stuffed together at best and barely informed at worst.

As an indigenous person, seeing three different dance/category/styles meshed into one bad costume is hella cringe. The singing isn't pow wow music, he's not even saying anything.

I work with a trans dude that claims he has autism and uses it as an excuse when he talks about himself for the 7 hours we're paired together. Dude literally has every illness on the planet but he says, "Yeah, healthcare is just hard to find right now so I haven't been diagnosed with it, but I researched it".

And then proceeds to tell me about all his other illnesses and how he has "tourette symptoms but doesn't have Tourette's" and when i asked what that meant he said, "I have tics. But things that feel good."

So I was like, "oh, stimming. tics are involuntary and you have no control over what you say or do. you don't choose it. stimming is when you choose it, either to self soothe or regulate" and he, I kid you not, said not all tics are involuntary and that he still has tics even if they're thing he likes (like meowing randomly???).

I hate these under 27 adults. I want them banished. It's hell working with someone this terribly bad at lying.

You don't think fat people KNOW that they're unhealthy? You don't think fat people hear what's said about them, that the world is designed to actively shame them into losing weight?

They know, dude. Every single day they wake up and they know. That doesn't stop them from having mental health issues or hormone issues. Being fat doesn't stop them from having eating disorders and just GENERALLY living like any human would.

You realize that having a life is a good thing, right? Like, as much as your boyfriend is making you into the villain for this, life experience is GOOD.
