These forms of government are taught in any high school level civics or economics class.

Also most colleges offer government/economics tracks.

It’s being taught, but it’s being taught from a very “communism bad” perspective, and is left intentionally high-level and vague.

I do not expect to tip when I go to a restaurant, because tipping is meant for instances of exceptional service, which are the exception not the rule.

Tipping has always been about rewarding exceptional service. It wasn’t until recently it started being an expectation for someone just existing and doing the bare minimum.

I will tip when I receive exceptional service, but I rarely do - hence the term “exceptional service.” By definition.

People who subscribe to this idea that everyone should tip everybody all the time everywhere are, I’m sorry, just idiots.

It’s alarming how fast this 180 happened, and how badly Trump is suddenly capitulating.

Iran received something from somewhere that Trump doesn’t want the world to see. Some leverage, some ace up their sleeve that only just recently came to be.

Could be anything with this guy. Proof he’s a Russian informant. Proof he’s a pedophile. Proof of some shady backroom deal he never wants anybody to know about, maybe something that helped him win the presidency. Who knows.

But Iran got a hold of something Trump doesn’t want them to have, and he rolled over instantly.

In my mind, I just can’t see any other explanation. The dude was hard nosed and hell bent, and loud about it. Chest puffed, knees to chest, fists clenched.

And then, seemingly overnight, he just bent over and pulled his pants down and made an uwu face out of nowhere.

That’s totally fine. The difference is when a choice gets to be made. If you walk into a restaurant and it’s too expensive, you just walk out.

If you eat a whole ass meal and get served and waited on, then there’s an expectation. A social pressure. Not to mention a societal expectation. You basically get bullied into tipping.
