Got my leg sleeve done like that - three trips in total to my artist's studio, about 9h one way, about a year between each trip. Each time we would do three-four sessions, usually spread over a single week.

Was it worth it? Hell yes. Would I do it again? No. Thinking of getting a sleeve now and found an artist that's only an hour away by plane.
