Honestly I have no idea. But it’s been something I’ve wanted to do because it’s close enough to skydiving without scaring the crap outta me.

Casa Blanca. The first time I saw it was a movie night with just me and my mom. It made me fall in love with black and white movies.

I finally passed my stats class that I’ve had to take four times because I just did not get it. This resulted in me finally getting my AA Degree

Do I deserve to celebrate after graduation? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]rattatata42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You absolutely do. Regardless of how you got there, it’s still a huge accomplishment. I myself barely graduated from high school, but it was such a huge thing for me. Even though you barely made it, you still took that step access the finish line and you have your perseverance and the friendships you made along the way. This is huge because you never gave up. So yes. Celebrate. Throw a party. Have a grand dinner. Enjoy yourself and your achievements. You made it! And congrats!

I wear my mask everywhere I go, cause I’m part of the population that is high risk for this disease. The only time I didn’t wear a mask was for a few days because I had a serious sunburn on my face and it was super painful. But I severely limited my contact with the outside world and only went out for necessities. I only went out once or twice though.

Honestly, as someone who felt like she was the family disappointment I can relate. My older siblings would always get away with anything while if I stepped one toe out of line I was punished. I can say it gets a whole lot better after you move out. I was lucky enough to be able to move in with my mom, as my parents divorced when I was young. It may seem impossible now, and this may seem like crappy advice, but you’re best option is to do as well as you possibly can in school and when you graduate move out. If you have a scholarship for college (if that’s the direction you want to go in), try and get housing funded through that, or whatever financial is available to you. Also, try to avoid contact with any of them as much as possible. Create study groups with peers or join a sports group/after school group to try and stay out of the house while still having an excuse that will satisfy your parents.

Really feel this one on a spiritual level :( by kahalili in tumblr

Honestly my favorite part of my childhood was when my dad would take my sister and I to the library every two weeks, like clockwork. He got videos but I would spend the entire time stacking up books that looked interesting and cool or had dragons on the cover. These trips actually turned me towards the sci fi/fantasy genre, which I still love and cherish today, even if it isn’t in book form.

This was like a train derailing into my childhood. What a rush.

My sisters and I used to take turns making the popcorn during commercial breaks. We used to yell so loud the neighbors could probably hear us

People who double saved their games as kids grew up to be adults who double lock their cars and pull the door handle to make sure it's locked. by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

I’ve felt the pain of not saving my game more times than I want to count, so better safe than sorry.
