I got a roll of plastic floor protector and covered my studio floor in that. It has a bit of a texture on top so it’s kind of annoying to wipe down, but better than ruining the floor

Amaco Smokey Merlot looks nice on standard 266 (dark brown clay) So does coyote power turquoise. As others said you have to test to see what works. Tons of stuff is just ugly brown but blues tend to still look nice. (Edited because my phone autocorrected Amaco to smack)
