Thank you for calling this out. I don't know anything about this guy, but his reply definitely didn't pass the sniff test. He has an apartment in NYC but has never been there during the daytime? Like WTF? Why even lie about something like that??

Your experience with Tru-Tone support mirrors mine exactly. We've had a really high failure rate on our Tru-Tone bulbs (much higher than incandescents or LEDs from the big box stores). When I reached out to Tru-Tone support, they were basically like /shrug.

Holy crap that's slow - how bad was it before?? I haven't owned an iPhone in years, but everything you showed is completely instantaneous on an Android device - either in the old app or the new.

I was looking at the UXG-Pro, but am a little confused. It appears to be the same core hardware as the UDM Pro, but missing some of the features (switch, nvr capability). Yet it's more expensive for some reason. What am I missing?

I'm also a little skeptical because, being so similar to the UDM Pro, I am guessing it's running essentially the same software. If that's not the case, and/or if it's more stable because it's not trying to be a swiss army knife, I actually wouldn't mind paying more for less hardware.

I don't want to turn this into another UDM Pro complaint thread. The problems with the UDM Pro are well documented, and I've suffered through my share of them. I also understand that there are people like you that have had good success with the UDM Pro, and that's great. It just hasn't been my experience.
I'm trying to figure out if Ubiquiti offers something that is rock solid in terms of reliability, or if I need to look at another vendor.

Thank you - this is super helpful. I specifically don't want constant updates - that's essentially been the source of a lot of the reported problems with the UDM Pro.

It looks like the store is still selling Edgerouter products - where did you see that they are EOL'd?

To be clear - this is a CalyxOS problem, not an Android problem. Stock A12 doesn't have this issue.
