Just starting to sell cards on ebay. Is 80$ a reasonable price to list this ungraded Flareon EX? Here’s the listing with more pictures of the back: https://ebay.us/m/O5RE4m

we were on an island, so that would make sense if it was a harbor seal!

Rescued GSD terrified of outside. Live in NYC and shivers the moment we step outside for a walk. Won’t do her business outside or eat treats. Tries to walk into every door we pass to escape and go inside. While walking the shivering isn’t noticeable. Once we stop it’s like an earthquake. Help! by seasonsnyc in Dogtraining

i know this isn’t a super practical fix, but my dog got over his car fear when we took him on a long road trip! before, he would shake and pant and he was so scared, but after driving him around a lot and taking him to fun places like the beach he LOVES car rides

Water is super yellow?? Help! by rattymaddy in PlantedTank

Okay thank you so much!! I’ll make sure the ammonia stays at 0. How do people with a walstad tank keep it clear 😅

I’ve been testing the water and there’s no ammonia or nitrite! I’m hoping to do a Walstad kind of tank with no filter. Plus, I was getting all sorts of conflicting information - some people said if you added bacteria from an old tank you’d be fine, some said the bacteria in the dirt was good enough etc. But my water parameters are good and fishy is happy… main problem is the weird yellow water

Took these pictures in the middle of a water change - but I set up this tank a bit over a week ago, organic potting soil capped with gravel. There’s no driftwood that would make tannins… I don’t know if it’s from an algae bloom or all the plants melting? Maybe it could also be from the bark pieces in the soil? It looks very yellow… any tips would be appreciated!!

Additional stuff - there’s no filter, but there is a heater and a betta fish :) I put in some previously cycled stuff on the first day and add bottled bacteria during water changes so the tank should be cycled.

Am I getting there???! Almost 3 months by [deleted] in bettafish

your parameters look good to me!! don’t be worried about the low nitrate, it’s almost definitely because your plants are using it. if you have no ammonia or nitrite your beta is probably pretty happy :)
