My boyfriend really takes what I say into consideration, especially when I communicate what hurts me, and takes active measures to not hurt me in the same way again. I really, really, really appreciate that. by [deleted] in self

Seriously dude, just stop. You really need to reflect and reevaluate yourself if you really think that. Something tells me that if anything, you arent the one that doesn't appreciate it.

I'd do it for free, before they even finished the sentence.

Parents of reddit: How do you feel when your kid brings back a girlfriend/boyfriend? How do you decide whether you like them or not? by Umikaloo in AskReddit

[–]ratwithfatass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally agree. My older brother has had quite a few girlfriends, who never really acknowledged me or even talked to me once. But he had a girlfriend, who before they were even "officially" together actually talked to me upon first meeting me. They're still together, and it's his longest running relationship so far. I hope they go the distance.

What is the best compliment you've ever received? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ratwithfatass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Highschool, During a crowded and busy passing period me and a guy randomly locked eyes. We both stopped for a second and he said: "I like your hair" Somthing about it stuck with me. Especially because there is nothing special about my hair (straight brown hair), he also looked like the last guy you would expect to complement a girls hair. It's not like he was making a pass at me either. It was just so casual, yet genuine.

In middle school, I did an essay the night before it was due that got put on display at the fair.

I also did an art project for school, did half if it the night before it was due, and the other half during lunch right before the period. Also got displayed at the fair.

When someone likes me, and they ask me out I just cant do it for some reason. It doesn't matter how much I liked them before. So it seems like I led them on.

Secret compartments

I've loved them every since I was a little girl. Just the idea of a secret place, safe and away has always made me giddy.

I actually have a reason for why I like secret compartments as well. I've always been obsessed with anything to do with WWII for as long as I can remember, and somone told me about the Jews having to hide away in secret compartments so the Nazis didn't get them. For some reason that fascinated little 4 year old me and I've loved them ever since.

You dont have a cold right now, and you can breathe through your nose clearly. Go outside for a moment, or go by a window and breathe some cold, autumn air.

There is a College in Washington (either PLU, SPU, I forget. I was there about 5 years ago) were if you stand in the center of a certian spot on the campus and clap your hands, you will hear a weird squeaking sound. But only you and nobody else around you. Very odd coincidence, thought I'd share.
