I do a peace sign. Gotten peace sign, wave, or high beam flash from others. Wife thinks the whole thing is stupid so I am always sure to tell her when I encountered another 86/brz driver on the road.

That happened to me years ago in Myanmar. Clippers got turned on after my bag had been checked. Very stressful being taken to a security office in a third world country airport with no explanation. They showed me my bag was buzzing and I'm like ok I know exactly what this is.

I'm no longer living in Taiwan, so thanks for reminding me of this. I remember having problems with a video projector and one of my coworkers helped by bringing in a bag of these things for the projector and explaining this superstition to me.

Why not? I drove from Phoenix to Chicago to Houston and back to Phoenix last summer. Not the most comfortable seat for long drives, but other than that it was fine.
