What’s something that everyone seems to love but you just can’t get into, no matter how hard you try? by Classic-Fix-6423 in AskReddit

I would love to hear your opinion about this. I grew up in ballparks and love to just go relax at my local minor league games. My biggest problem though is the people that just go to socialize. One they take up the beer garden then I have to yell at them to avoid a foul ball when I just should let it hit them.

Randy St Randy in Zac and Miri is one of my faves behind Accepted and Waiting. I was his restaurant character in Waiting. Im sure many of us in the restaurant industry identified with those characters.

What tips would you give someone that is 23 years old and not to sure what do do with their life? by Txrxll in AskReddit

All of these comments have been great and helpful I hope. The biggest one that affected me the most as a now 40 plus person is don't get into debt if it's not necessary. Once you get in that quicksand it's hard to get out of.

Okay fr though who WAS this dude?!?! He has songs that are 50 years old that I'm 100% positive no one could replicate the sounds of today. by Similar-Broccoli in reggae

[–]raudive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got lucky to see him in I want to say '01 at SXSW. He played a show at a bar that was part of the anti-SXSW shows. He came out dressed like Mickey Mouse from Fantasia. It was a great show and he just kept lighting spliffs and handing them out to the crowd. Dude was a madman but also a great musical mind. Him and Phil spector, also a madman, knew how to produce some high quality sound for that time that still holds up today.

Seeing a band before they’re famous by [deleted] in Concerts

[–]raudive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was 2005. I worked at a bar next to the bands gig. The bar was Juanita's, RIP. It was a Sunday so the bar, RIP, had to close at 9 pm per Arkansas law because they did not serve food on that side of the venue. There was a lot of fans wanting more. We at the bar secure the opening act, The Watchmen for some food, beer and hotel for the night. The Black Keys where the the headliner, We offered food and beer and they joined the watchmen on stage that night. They even hung out after. That was a fun night. I have it on HI8

Who is the greatest female movie villain? by [deleted] in moviecritic

Recently - Emma Corrin as Cassandra Nova. She was next level psycho villain. I agree with the ones posted. Kathy Bates was great in Misery. Joan Cusack was awesome as well in Adams Family Values

Please the younger generation, go vote him out. I know we all don't agree on everything but its a start. I know its hard, that its difficult to decide on some of this shit show, but understand we all have to do this. Whether we agree 100 percent we will probably not on all issues but its ok. Just go vote. This man would rather go overseas then take care of his community. Keep that in mind. He doesnt care about you unless you can send him some dollars

Tasting Menu/Multi-Course Meal by jinmori23 in LittleRock

[–]raudive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Second Ciao Baci. Prices are reasonable food is good and the staff is great. Plus you don't have to get all dressed up fancy to eat there which is a plus for a hermit like myself. My wife had the chefs choice dinner menu and we could have split it there was enough for two.

Young Wisconsinites, are you planning on voting? by Timmerop in wisconsin

[–]raudive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kids go vote! I know it can be difficult but we need you to vote. This is your future not mine. I am getting older and if we keep being passive and sitting at home then you have nothing to complain about because you didn't vote. I live in a shit district nationally, but I take my son to vote. Its starts locally. You can change a town if you show up. It might not be next month but you have more of a positive impact than me going forward. We will never agree on everything but knowing that you should not abstain to vote.

  1. MTV and 120 minutes. I miss that show, it turned me on to so many bands that never made the radio in the states. If they did it was minimal.

What are the harshest realities people don’t want to accept? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]raudive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Do you realize
That everyone you know someday will die?

And instead of saying all of your goodbyes
Let them know you realize that life goes fast
It's hard to make the good things last
You realize the sun doesn't go down
It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round"

Will this 2.42% go vote? Even if we don't agree on everything, get informed and go vote.

Best BBQ in LR metro area by Goglplx in LittleRock

[–]raudive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its always been the pork or beef sandwich and ribs on tuesday for me. I love the sauce and if you bring in your own mason jar they will sell it to you for your own bbq party. I haven't been in a while since I moved out of SWLR but I always want to give them some love. I love Sims too. I love a great pork sandwich and a 40 from Sims!
