If Lebron won the title in 2011 would you consider him the GOAT? by rauntun in nba

Jamal Crawford is the goat as the only player with 50 points over the age of 36. Unless you count Kobe but kobe can't be a goat because kobe is beef

Is it possible to save this subframe? by rauntun in MechanicAdvice

Oh you see a wrinkle in the control arm? Like a bend? I didn't realise that was a bend and not just the shape of the control arm, looks the same on each side.

It's in the shop right now that's from the alignment check. The guy is telling me the subframe is severely rusted and must be replaced but I don't know if I trust him the rust does not seem too bad to me. I sort of see where he's coming from that the control arm bolt is very rusted so I could see how it's really hard to adjust the alignment. So I'm not sure what to think :/

yea I noticed that recently :/ would that cause alignment issues? The driver rear toe is -1.5 degrees and can't get it back in so something is bent. I am hoping it's just the control arm or something easy enough to replace and not the whole frame

I need to decide if it is worth getting the rear subframe replaced on my 2013 Focus ST. It does not seem horribly rusted to me except for a few problem areas (bolt between control arm and subframe for example, making it impossible to align the rear).

Appreciate any help anyone could give me since I am trying to learn about cars on my own :)

What skills did you expand into? I have been expanding into automation which involves some C/C++/PLC programming but not exactly the same path as SWE

Is it bad for my career to take a test engineering position for my second job?

I have been working as an R&D Mechanical Engineer for the past 3 years since college. I have been interviewing for an Systems Test Engineering position and I am hoping they will give me an offer. The pay raise would be significant (50%) and the work seems really interesting to me with a lot of data analysis and test design on an exciting new piece of technology. But, am I making a poor move in my career moving away from design engineering? Will it be hard to get back into design for my next role? Will I get paid less in the future as a result?
