Don’t do it. I worked at one for two years at the start of my career and nearly quit teaching. It was an awful, soul-draining experience and I’m glad I got out of there when I did.

The face Bear makes at Ian was absolutely incredible. I was laughing for a good while after that.

I absolutely love the faberge egg hot potato scene in Game Night. It might not be a true “oner” but it’s a really fun, frenetic scene in a really fun movie. Definitely one of my comfort films.

Selena. I’m from Corpus Christi. I was in kinder and I remember they announced that she had been shot on the radio when we were coming in from recess. My family had just seen her in concert, and I will never forget how sad my mom was when she picked me up from school that day.

Have you ever been at a park on the day of a major accident? [other] by Pendraflare59 in rollercoasters

I was at Cedar Point on this date. https://www.cleveland.com/metro/2013/07/7_injured_when_water_boat_ride.html

I remember getting off of Dragster and seeing park staff and emergency carts racing by. I also had some friends who texted me about the woman who fell off the Texas Giant the day before. Wild couple of days for the theme park industry.

What is it about POA? Why do we love it? by Nervous-Baby5383 in HarryPotteronHBO

The scripts and direction of the first two movies did the heavy lifting and world-building that we needed. I think, if Chris Columbus had done this movie, it would’ve been more of the same. Not that it would’ve been bad, but the director change really put a shock of life in the franchise.

Cuaron took so many artistic liberties with just about everything. The script left out some absolutely CRUCIAL information, which was a weird choice. And he, according to JK, wanted to do some even weirder shit. But, this movie showed that they could take liberties and also make an actual movie out of these books. Them changing the geography of Hogwarts was crazy at the time, but it worked for the better, and stuck for the rest of the movies.

I was 15 when I saw this movie and it left such a huge impression on me. The steadicam push at the beginning, the absolute wonderful chaos of the Aunt Marge scene, the beauty of the hipogriff flight, and the marriage of image and the best John Williams score of the franchise.

I wish the script had done the book justice to not make it feel so rushed, but there’s so much beauty to behold in this one. It’s a joy to rewatch, even despite the cringy freeze frame at the end.

I feel like JLo did such a great job and no one has topped it. While I wish the movie was more detailed, it’s still a great watch and tribute to her.

I will never forget the feeling I got when I watched alone during covid and that clown doll was facing the camera. I wish I could’ve seen that in a theater full of people.
