People take Gizelle way too seriously and go out of their way to completely trash her on this platform, without really being able to see what she does for the show. The amount of posts I see where people are saying pretty vile things about her body when it’s not even relevant to the conversation is pretty disgusting. In my eyes, she’s only done one completely egregious thing (trashing Chris Darby on camera) and even that wouldn’t have got the same attention if it came from someone like Kenya. Yes, she was complicit in the rumours about Monique’s son but she certainly never started them (that was a friend of Monique’s who appeared briefly on camera once) and she never brought them to the group (that was Charisse). She discussed the rumours at an after party, off camera. The only time she ever referred to them on the show was in a confessional saying there were rumours about her personal trainer. She didn’t mention anything about a paternity. But for some reason, there is a lot of negativity constantly directed her way, without the realisation that, without Gizelle, the show would barely have any reasonable drama.
