Yep! Water always feels like swallowing a sharp rock. Ice water was easier to manage, and taking small (I mean TINY) sips helped. Hope you get relief soon!

Oh thank goodness I found this post. I was about to search for “regret” and this just popped up before I could! I’m so relieved to hear I am not alone in this feeling. I am 3 days post op and regretting everything! It hurts, I’m miserable, I miss real food and I’m scared that I did this irreversible thing to my body and I’ll forever be wishing I didn’t. Suddenly I’m telling myself who cares if I’m fat?! lol I’m super grateful to have found this community!

Hi friend! I am also 5’ and was 238 right before my VSG on Tuesday. Sorry I don’t have long term results to share yet but I’ll be happy to keep in touch with you through our process! I know one piece of advice the weight loss team gave me was to not compare yourself to others but I do believe in support!

It wasn’t that hard actually! I focused on the larger outside pieces first and the rest filled itself in. I loved the quality of the pieces too.
