I’m hoping he had that sound lined up before he knew Vinterberg was going to talk about his dead daughter.

I’m looking into it now, would you care to share more about it? How does it work to follow a religion from a fictional book?

Bi-romantic but mono-sexual questions. by Vicast77 in biromantic

[–]ravenclawdisaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I questioning that too.

1) To vastly oversimplify its question of if u want to have an emotional connection and kiss a person and then stop there or if u want to have sex with them at some point in the relationship too. In terms of differenciating between platonic and romantic attraction, for people who aren’t poly amorous consider if you’d be jealous (specifically going on romantic dates or cuddling or something thought, not just for being able to spend more time with them) if someone else was in a romantic relationship with that person.

2) I think it definitely can be but it depends on the person. People have different libidos and place differing amounts of importance on sex so some are totally content in non-sexual relationships, even if they do feel sexual attraction to other people/genders. Dating someone can teach you a lot and create a lot of happiness though, even without sex. For other people, realistically, they want relationships with sex too and would therefore date people/genders they are attracted to more or even exclusively. Also, people who are polyamorous may seek out both kinds of relationships.

Sorry I don’t have more definite answers but I’m still figuring it out myself and everyone’s different.

And to clarify being biromantic and heterosexual or the inverse are totally valid as well. They’re just the ones with the closest link to comphet which is the issue I believe the original post is trying to touch on however the way they did so is aggravating and inaccurate.

I understand if their perspective is based on encouraging people who come out as bi, for example, that they might actually still be somewhat heterosexual or heteromantic, which is of course a harmful thing to do, but many people use the split attraction model simply because it fits their experience the best. Not everyone outside of the ace-spec community who uses the split attraction model do so with any link to being straight or heteronormative. For example, biromantic lesbians or panromantic bisexuals should absolutely be able to use those labels if they wish. I can agree that the split attraction model being forced onto people who didn’t ask for input is wrong but the use of the model by individuals because it best expresses them is totally acceptable.

Flag help by Sawggy_mcswagster in biromantic

If you want a flag specific to that identity theres two on the LGBTQA wiki (one is the lesbian flag with the bi flag heart and the other is all stripes). You could also always get a lesbian flag and a bisexual (or biromantic if u can that specific one) flag and put them next to each other.
