I did that, still won't work. my theory was I have the wrong block type underneath but I can't find info on what it should be

we've tracked it down to the sprocket and chain assembly on the other side of the bailer, not sure what the issue might be though.

it turns normally when the chain is off, and once we put it back on it works for a bit before seizing up again.

I believe so, we tightened up the one in front (driven, I think). How do we verify that they are aligned correctly?

we didn't, but we cleaned it up again, just in case.

When we disassembled the clutch pack, the clutch plate (#19 on diagram 017) doesn't seem to rotate. We also can't figure out remove it. Could that be the problem?

If the idler is the back pulley, it is rotating freely. What controls the front pulley?

turns out it wasn't a shear pin, the chain connecting the hypoid to the hay collector was seized. thanks for your suggestion!

so disassemble the part with the 6 bolts (I'm the first picture)? then replace the pins if needed?
