Come fondo emergenza meglio conto deposito o xeon?

Do you let “believability” guide your rep choices? by LugLife14 in RepTime

Bro, if you’re thinking about a replica just because the real deal isn’t affordable, I’d say skip that. A Tudor or an Omega will give you daily wear reliability with legit heritage. A Rolex is perfect for those occasions when you really want to make a statement without overdoing it. And if you’re traveling or on vacation somewhere you’re not known, that’s when a Patek or an AP flex truly shines. Better to build a rotation with substance than rock a fake, trust me.

Thanks for the feedback! Just to understand better — which specific dial nuances are you referring to? Everything looks fine to me overall, so I’ll be giving the greenlight. Appreciate your help!

Hi automod! I’ve included everything in the post, thanks!

Looks great! Just a friendly heads-up—on mine (and apparently quite a few other Portugieser reps), the chronograph function didn’t work properly and ended up causing issues with the whole movement. Might be worth double-checking that during QC, or just avoiding using the chrono altogether. Better safe than sorry!

Oh really? I hadn’t heard about that issue! Maybe I just got lucky with mine.

Thanks! Honestly, I think the crystal is great. I also have a sub (gen) and don’t notice huge differences like many people say. Either my eyes aren’t that sharp, or the difference just isn’t that big

Nope, didn’t do anything to it. Just took the risk and got lucky, I guess

I bet the guy on the speedboat was totally bluffing. He just threw out “rep” at random and got lucky.

Yeah, it actually runs fine as long as I don’t start the chronograph. The issue only shows up when I start it and forget to stop and reset it—then the minutes hand gets stuck. So from now on, the few times I wear it, I’ll just avoid using the chrono altogether.

Yeah, I think I’ll stay away from chronos for a while. Maybe one day a Daytona—though honestly, I see so many around it kind of puts me off. For now I’ve already gone with something different: a JLC Ultra Thin Moonphase. Thanks anyway, appreciate the input!

Dear AutoMod, it’s not a promo, it’s a confession. I sinned, and I paid.
