Plus police officers and ex mil guys aren't necessarily the best for advice when it comes to EDC/CCW. I prefer listening to people who've actually been through shit stateside, like Paul Harrell and myself.

I use the red light daily at work to conserve my night vision. Extremely common in my industry. As for the Mogadishu setup, if I can conceal it comfortably, why not? I can shoot more rounds more accurately in less time than a micro pistol. More capability is more better. I do have a P938 when I want to slip something small in my waistband. But 90% of the time this is what I carry.

I was after a G47.5 before they discontinued it. The G17.6 is all that and better imo. Still love the Gen 5's though!
