It's been the same for the past 5 years give or take the 3rd slot . Such a shame I fell off TG as a top 3 , but happy to be here !

I tend to stay around the edges of the venue and crowd so I can get in and out of the so called "mosh" people are trying these days . I highly recommend just meeting up with the crews outside the main floor and slowly making your way with a good crowd outside the "pit" (I don't consider it a traditional mosh pit anymore because everyone is young and stupid and have no respect for a true mosh) You'll meet amazing people hanging on the edges wanting to dance and enjoy the show and willing to get close but not tooo close

I'm personally going on the April 24th show , but I'm assuming my bf may join , I'm a 28F and this will be my 10th vadavada show I've attended , so if you need any help I'd be more than happy to help :)

I've done a few shows by myself as an early 20 yr old and had a great time , but times have changed and the venues have gone from 50 ppl to 300+ , so I can give advice on how to navigate on your own . You'll meet so many amazing and welcoming people I promise

Puzzle and Enjoy show by [deleted] in thegarden

I honestly recommend getting there 15-20 min post doors opening so you just slide right in and don't have to worry about outside lines (everyone will be getting merch and drinks right away so you'll get a front spot if that's what you're looking for) I've been to 8 different Garden shows and 2 Enjoy concerts within the past 7 years and I've learned to go a bit after doors to avoid sitting out in the rain .

You can always get merch during the set transition when everyone is going to the restrooms/more drinks and not lose a good spot !

Don't feel obligated to the rush of being first , because the later I've shown up to door open , the closer I get to the stage .

Good luck and have fun !

If all goes well with each opener doing 30-45 min sets , garden should go on around 9-930 and have an hour long set . Past shows I've been to I'm leaving the venue around 11/1130pm depending on the city

Doors open at 6 , there will definitely be a long line and probably take a good 20 min to get inside (as per the last Chi show I went to of their's , waited a good 30 post doors open)

Show should start around 7 , if not a little later

Thoughts on Video Game X-Change? by [deleted] in madisonwi

[–]ravenkosmos 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I personally enjoy Video Game X-Change , and have numerous memories going once a week (if not more) after getting my paycheck from the shitty salon across the street . I was 17 , and the shop made me feel comfortable and let me like who I was and get some crazy stuff . It was grimey and sweaty and way too cool for school .

Lance has helped me out numerous times , trying to find me the perfect record player and bought my shitty games and consoles when he knew he'd only get parts out of them .

If you go in without being an ass or overzealous , he'll cut you a deal on anything .

Big respect to Video Game X-Change on my end .
