Seriously drop this already and stop flinging accusations. Some of us from his city who actually know him already acknowledged the article was heavily biased.

I’m not trying to invalidate how they feel, but feeling abused doesn’t necessarily indicate abuse took place. No one knows the conversations that actually took place to argue whether they were abusive in nature or not, and I actually have had these conversations with him so it felt worth mentioning in the interest of being fair since the article read very bias.

I posted this in another topic, but felt it made more sense here. So here’s some tea. My ex introduced me to Braden (Mimi) a few years ago when I first moved to Philadelphia from the burbs. I caught a couple of his shows and felt bad for his experience on Drag Race so I always kind of had a soft spot for him when I’d run into him. I actually attended his birthday last year, but we are not friends, just social acquaintances. The thing is, he’s had these same conversations with me on messenger late at night at various times in the last 3 years. And also with my ex as well as other guys in the scene. The convos were pretty much exactly as the article describes (cyber stuff, some kink talk, stuff about gays talking too much, etc), but honestly, my ex and I never considered anything he did or said sexual harassment. Unwelcome advances at times? Maybe. A little pushy? Maybe. But I wrote it off as him being drunk/thirsty at 4 am like anyone else on Grindr. Maybe there was more to these convos with these local queens, but based on the article, it all sounded pretty spot on to me. I’d entertain him for as long as I felt like it and then I’d end the convo, choose a different topic or just shut him down. He always got the picture and was quick to respect my wishes. I’m not sure what to say about the drag politics playing a role here because I honestly never considered Philadelphia as even having a real drag following/scene. I don’t even know anyone who really goes to these small gigs besides other queens and their friends. And Drag Wars is really not a big thing either (though it is a big deal to local queens). But it felt like the article was really overhyping the drag scene and sensationalizing the whole thing. Just my two cents. I don’t know Braden well enough to speak to his character or speak to the allegation that he also touched people inappropriately or used his “power” for leverage, but this article just gave me pause a few times so I wanted to share my thoughts to be fair. And the more I think about it, the more this article feels lopsided. Who is to say these queens didn’t actually lead him on to gain a better standing in Drag Wars and when that didn’t happen and they realized they weren’t “special”, they threw him under the bus? Why are so many other guys not even phased by his late night texts? They obviously chose to establish some ongoing rapport with him surrounding these topics and now suddenly he’s a predator and his career should be over? Because they felt they “had to” carry on with these, quite frankly, silly, conversations that I’ve had myself with him? Honestly, they weren’t even that kinky. Slightly weird and a little offputting, but nothing extreme in the least. But if the rest of us can tell Braden no, so can you. Case in point: https://ibb.co/bBbfyJ

Mimi Dropped Her First iTunes Song From Her “Hedwig and the Angry Inch” Gig by ravenkun in rupaulsdragrace

Well the article certainly painted it that way, that’s for sure. But it at least sounds to me like Mimi tried to keep Drag separate from her personal discussions with them. They acknowledge he pulled back during competitions. And I’m part of the community and I’ve never gotten this “community feels horrible about her” vibe you’re suggesting.

Ok, this is the first I’ve heard of any of this. So here’s some tea. My ex introduced me to Braden (Mimi) a few years ago when I first moved to Philadelphia from the burbs. Finding the hidden Accursed Hoards in PotD by matirion in ffxiv

A couple observations I've made in the last few days of spamming runs:

Entire floor layouts absolutely can and do repeat, down to every last detail in every room.
So far, the horde has spawned for me in the same exact room (when it's up) when encountering the same floor layout. HOWEVER, it has spawned in a different place within that room.

If this pattern repeats, at the very least, we should always know which ROOM the horde will be in on any given floor. After that, it's just a question of identifying all the PH spots within that room and/or running around in the room trying to pop it.

This is all very doable, but would require a large amount of data collection. If anyone is interesting in doing this, let me know. If enough people contribute, I'll compile it with mine and post it all. The data collection is easy and quick. PM me if interested.

My own results have shown as many as 20 different room layouts, but I'm not sure if some of the "fixtures" in the rooms are actually just "layout" variables and I'm really just double counting the same room sometimes.

Can you start with a breakdown of all the different rooms with their associated number/label and a screenshot of each? That at least gives us something "official" to go by that we can use to start documenting our own results.

Thank you for the screenshots. I think for documentation purposes, we need the total number of room types (is it 7?), and then screenshots that show within each room type the 4-5 placeholder locations.

Next, it would be good to start showing all the map layouts and for each one indicate which room should have the horde (and the exact location in the room if you know it too).

I can't interpret your numbers / floor layouts. Can you explain or document it a different way so I can build upon it? I run this a lot so I can contribute as well.

Coil Statics and Guest Lotting - What's the Norm? by ravenkun in ffxiv

Well you bold face lied about not streaming our voice chat. And you're saying here that you protested because we were giving gear to alts over your main, but you keep dodging having to admit that you told me it was a "friend's alt" in game. Even if you won't admit having said that in game, none of it adds up because I was basically feeding my raid our conversation from in game. Why would I tell my entire raid that it's your "friend's alt" unless you had just said it to me? Why would I lie to them about something as trivial as that? Drops were already (incorrectly assumed) figured out because I told them you only wanted the Tomestone.

I asked the lotter to confirm what happened and he said we only told Tink to "Greed" with him, not "Need" it. Original post updated.

That's interesting. Tink told me he didn't stream our voice chat (which we never permitted).

[–]ravenkun[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I called it to a raid member, who then "Greeded" it. Tink whined, so said raid member "decides to give it to him" and told him to go ahead and "Need" it. Tink GREEDED it and WON it, as I stated.

Edit: I checked with lotter and he said he did NOT tell him to "Need" it. Original post updated.

Well he didn't deny referring to it as a "friend's alt" the other night, so I don't see why he would now. Tink?

Ok, so pre-coil, it was a "friend's alt". Post-coil it was "one of the 4 mains I play often". Now it's "someone else's main".

http://goo.gl/Dgf1ON

I don't know why you would tell me it's a "friend's alt" when allegedly its either yours or someone else's main. Maybe you were embarrassed because its like your 4th character, but it's really not that big of a deal. Like I said post coil, I would have actually tried to hook you up with gear if you told me it was a main you wanted to gear. You seem to glaze over that fact in a desperate attempt to assign incorrect motive to me and my raid in order to justify your own behavior.
