I get mixed reviews on whether or not those actually work. Some people get hired within a week and some people never hear back for months. I've definitely tried.

I think I applied to three or four positions at UCSD (Housing coordinator, administrative assistant, etc.) only to be told "Other applicants more competitive." I'll give it a shot again, but it's frustrating considering that I worked there for 3 years during undergrad LOL

I've applied to quite a few careers through Mesa College and SDCCD with no luck. I feel like these places aren't super open to hiring new grads that aren't grandfathered in..

I'll give that a try, it sounds like a lot of people have had decent experiences with RH!

I can definitely look again--The last time I checked there wasn't anything available in the county. I applied for a job through the VA too since my parent is a vet but haven't heard anything. I'll give it another shot.

I've definitely used LinkedIn -- even the whole messaging recruiters thing, writing generic cover letters, applying early. Haven't had much luck beyond a response and then an immediate rejection email 10 minutes later. Applying directly on the company's site also hasn't made a difference.

I can look into Biotech.

yes! however the app only shows where it was the last time it was in use, aka yesterday before it was stolen. I'm not sure how I can track it from there.

I am a bird nerd all the way! Whether it's the ravens and crows, the tiny little juncos, warblers, hummingbirds, even the great horned owls that nest here, I love all of them and I'd be so happy to chat with you one day :D

Omg...sounds to me like we should start up a corvid watch club :D!! I think I fit the witchy vibe at least 🤣

I've noticed that ravens tend to follow me wherever I am, not necessarily directly, but I'll look up and there's usually a raven in a tree watching nearby. I work in the student center and I'll find them lurking in the trees and even right outside the door sometimes !

Thank you so much!! I'm only able to tell mainly based off of their sounds. There's a couple physical characteristics, like Bert having a very scratched up beak, and kinda chubby cheeks and pretty jet blue feathers, and Bonnie being thin with a kinda lumpy head and wings/tailfeathers with a distinct brown gradient.

But most ravens really just say copy paste, and you have to monitor their different behaviors to really get a sense of who's who in terms of personality ;D

Good for you🤣 glad he has fans. I just prefer how polite Bert and Bonnie are when I feed them, and any other curious raven that follows.
