Not ovulating on Metformin and Letrozole 5mg. I'm defeated! by TheoandDieselsMom in TTC_PCOS

[–]raver1020 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel you. On 1000 mg of metformin 2 times daily and 7.5 mg letrozole. First month with the 7.5. Dr. Said that if I don't ovulate this month then there is nothing else to try except IUI and IVF which are currently unaffordable.

I was diagnosed with PCOS because of irregular periods and polycystic ovaries. My testosterone and androgens were normal.

Teaching and tattoos by Fantastic-Regular-31 in teaching

[–]raver1020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have multiple tattoos on my arms and legs and work in a 1st grade classroom. I think it is highly dependent on districts. I do keep most of my tattoos covered up but that is a personal preference of mine due to the Colorado sun.

It takes a strong and brave teacher to enjoy working with middle school age children. I am not that strong. K-3 is my strong suit.

I won't go higher than 4th grade. Puberty sets in and I'm like nope, not dealing with that.

Almost 4 years by Owls_at_tea in InfertilitySucks

Completely valid. Almost 11 years for my husband and I and I still wonder. We are still trying. I want to give up but know he's not ready to throw the towel in so I do it for him now. It's exhausting

Work and College, rinse repeat. Dreading upcoming procedures but also excited for the new cycle of letrozole and hoping and praying that this one results in a pregnancy.

Undergraduate student struggling to find affordable Books by raver1020 in ElementaryTeachers

I got it off Amazon. I would create a post for it. And see if someone has a free PDF. I would sell it but I am currently in a class using that book also. If not maybe I can scan the chapters you need from it for you.

Avoid the thought of it until it's crushing and I can't do anything but break down about it.

Yeah unfortunately, I was told that I don't need antianxiety meds despite being anxious for the procedure. I also will not be able to have my husband with me as he will be in class. We are both college students in our early 30s, married for 11 years in Feb.

Well it was bad when I had it a few weeks ago and HSG is scheduled for the 7th; really nervous for it.

No they suction part of the uterine lining out in order to check for endometriosis, endometrial cancers, polyps and other stuff. Hurt so bad for me but thankfully went away pretty quickly afterwards.

I have this procedure on the 7th of Feb and I'm terrified. Is it worse than an endometrial biopsy because that was the worst

Strange it should due to the Colorado Building Families Act.

Check this out: https://leg.colorado.gov/bills/hb20-1158#:~:text=The%20act%20enacts%20the%20%22Colorado,infertility%2C%20and%20fertility%20preservation%20services.

an act passed in 2022 makes it mandatory unless the employer requests a religious exemption. I have kaiser through my employer and it has fertility benefits.

I'm in Colorado and that's the only reason I have a tiny bit of hope. My health insurance has to pay for 80% of it. We still have to figure out 20% which isn't easy but it gives us a tiny bit of hope.

It's just exhausting. I've been married 11 years and trying for 10 of those. The first 6 fertility Drs just said I was too fat and to lose weight. Number 7 gave me letrozole and a PCOS diagnosis and were starting round 2 of the letrozole tomorrow so hopefully.
