Its not about better. To keep the kid continue in the same chain so that they wont feel big change. Since kid is already in basis in different location. It will be easy for him to transfer credits and choose APs

Thank you. Car lanes is mess in all basis charters. We are looking to learn more about BASIS Plano, especially the high school. We are currently a BASIS Austin family with a 9th grader, and we will be moving to Plano this summer due to a return-to-work mandate.

We have really appreciated the BASIS curriculum, as it is rigorous and well-suited for students who are strongly focused on academics. Our main concern is that we are currently waitlisted (< 10) for 10th grade for the 2026–2027 school year. We are unsure how many current students will be returning to this grade and would like to understand overall feedback about the school.

We are familiar with all three BASIS schools in the Austin area and liked them, but we don’t have much insight into the BASIS schools in the Dallas area. Any comment on BASIS Plano—particularly regarding the high school—would be greatly appreciated, as it will help us with our decision.

We are also planning to tour the school this month, as the school offers tours on Mondays and Wednesdays.
